Respected members of the group..

i've a very small query.. my father and mother don't know their

dates of birth in the english calendar.. i'll be thankful if you

could calculate it from the Punjabi calendar.

1. 25th Harh 1950 (i think the day is saturday but not sure about it)

2. 15 katik 1959 (here again the day should be wednesday and it was

the diwali day)

Here is a tip -

 

You can know the Vedic month by the position of Surya in different Rashis. Like,

In Vaishakh month, Surya is in Aries, in Jyaistha, it is in Taurus, in Ashara,

it is in Gemini and so on. At last in Chaitra, it is in Pisces.

 

You must follow sidereal zodiac to do this.

 

And you can know the day in the Vedic month too. I think in general it is equal

to the degree of Surya, since one month - 30 days and one rashi = 30 degree. So

my Hindu date of birth is 8th Poush, so Surya is in 8 degree Sagittarius.
