Guest guest
Respected Gurus, This is my first post in this group. I have just started studying vedic astrology.Of late I have been studying about the planet Saturn. Saturn as I understand is a planet of stern discipline. It is planet of delay not denial. Saturn has full directional strenth when posited in the 7th house. What I want to know is what would be the effect of a retrograde Saturn in 7th house? Would it effect all partnerships negatively, delay or even deny marriage ? Please help me in understanding. Thank you Sahana
Guest guest
While the Gurus are pondering, I thought I would welcome you and put in my two cents! Unless afflicted otherwise, retrograde planets become stronger. If they are benefics (through ownership, not natural attributes alone) they would increase benefic effects, but if they are malefics the effects would be worse. Mind you, unlike exaltation which improves the quality of the planet, retrogression improves the strength of the planet (which then expresses its promise, benefic or malefic more vigorously). Dr. Charak in his book on medical astrology also mentioned that retrograde planets always give some disease or disorder. There are many views that exist about retrograde planets, in different books etc. This indicates that different people might have focused on the properties in different settings and that these are not comprehensive opinions applicable universally. Test in a few charts, in other words (so what is new?). Digbali planets become stronger, so the saturn in 7th retrograde will gain additional strength. , "sahana22" <sahana22> wrote: > > Respected Gurus, > This is my first post in this group. Guest guest
Hi all I have a doubt :- Since Saturn has 3,7 and 10th aspect so what if Saturn (as 7th lord) is present in 1st house. lagna is cancer and saturn is 7th lord and it is present in 1st house then what effects will it have on married life ? How powerful are the aspects of saturn when it is aspecting 7th house? regards angel , "rohiniranjan" <rrgb@s...> wrote: > > While the Gurus are pondering, I thought I would welcome you and put > in my two cents! > > Unless afflicted otherwise, retrograde planets become stronger. Guest guest
Need bit more clarity in this-What I have heard is a planet when in natural orbit and retrograded will not give the full power .This is true in the case of non subhas. For instance Saturn when in bad position if retrograded or moved on from cancer to Gemini ( IAm quoting the regular orbit taken by that) will not give the complete effect. Not sure if you are discussing the same and if my understanding is proper or not. Guest guest
Dear Goyal, Sat and Moon connection is considered to be causing hurdles and delays in marriage. Repeated attemts are to be made to negotiate/celebrate the marriage. But ultimately it proves to be good for marriage life. Provides steadiness and stability. I have one such chart : Female 11th October 1976 30:00 N 76:50 E 01:40 AM Married on 12th December 2002. Guest guest
Dear Anupama, More than power of planet, it is important to see which zone [house], the planet is posted, and what is the nature of results, it is going to offer. Suppose a planet is giving you monetary benefits, how does it matter if the money gained is thousand dollers or thousand and a hundread. Important is ,whether you are going to gain or lose or simply frustrate. Guest guest
Dear Anupama, In Kp astrology we see it like this. Saturn is moving in the star of Punarvasu ruled by Jupiter. So it is going to give you mostly results related to what Jupiter has to offer in your chart. Say if Jup is in 10th house , Sat movement will give boost to your professional life. Jup as lord of 3rd will give to lot of activities, learnings, small travels, presentations, readings etc. As lord of 6th some thing to do with job and health. Retro sat means you should be coming back to some activities done in the past. However, whether you enjoy beneficial results or bad results in Sat trnsit will also depend upon the subs being traveresd by Sat. This is in short. I hope you follow. Good wishes... Guest guest
Hello Inderji, Basic Karakatwas of Saturn for ex: making you more meticulous and striving you hard will also be refelcted. Secondly,it also depends whether in the chart which the saturn's own house and the bhava related, relationship of saturn with reference to the bhava are also to be looked into.In the case of example of 10th house if jupiter is posited in the 10th house and saturn happens to activate in transit 10th house,it will influence and definetely there will be hold up of things. Iam sure you are in agreements with my views regards krishnan Inder <indervohra2001 wrote: Dear Anupama, In Kp astrology we see it like this. Guest guest
Dear Inder, Thanks for the mail. Also you had mentioned as lord of 6 something to do job.could you please help me out in getting over my anxiety of Saturn in 6th house.I was told that the planet Saturn normally starts giving good effects towards the latter half in my case as it is in 6th house. And that too the effect will be too slow and will be hambered by the presence to Kandaka sani(10th house) Currently Iam a software engg working with MNC in Bangalore .Iam planning to continue with mystudies ( I mean taking up phd either in space research or systems design). With high morale I approached a local astrologer and the reply I got was so dissapointing.Hence my anxiety. -Anupama Inder <indervohra2001 wrote: Dear Anupama, In Kp astrology we see it like this. Guest guest
hello , Angel, we can be more elaboraive witg the degrees of Cancer Ascendent and also to locate what the influnce saturn, a debilitated planet(retrograde also?) on the basis of stella effects. If saturn degrees is with in 13 degrees it is good as it is in it's own nakshtra and in Aslesha influnced by Mercury and lastly Makha .It is in this the native will have problems. As far as aspect on 7th the native is irreconcilable and is very cautious and undoubtedly a doubting ThomasAspect of 3rd do effect as it relates to virgo as very choosy with his sibblings and not very communicative and hesitant.1oth aspect should be also bitter as it relates to profession and is Artha bhava. For all this we need to look from Progressive chart also.Any conclusion based on natal position does not suggest any proper Astrological analysis and meaningful understanding. Krishnan. angelgoel <angelgoel wrote: Hi all I have a doubt :- Since Saturn has 3,7 and 10th aspect so what if Saturn (as 7th lord) is present in 1st house. lagna is cancer and saturn is 7th lord and it is present in 1st house then what effects will it have on married life ? How powerful are the aspects of saturn when it is aspecting 7th house? regards angel , "rohiniranjan" <rrgb@s...> wrote: > > While the Gurus are pondering, I thought I would welcome you and put > in my two cents! > > Unless afflicted otherwise, retrograde planets become stronger. Guest guest
Yes dear agreed, when we are considering transit of Saturn then basic Karaktwas of Sat is important and also what does Saturn signify in the chart. So Saturn as a source will give results of Jupiter in 10th and Jup lord of 3rd and 6th. Lot of hard work to achieve something in life!!!! Guest guest
inder ji have very intelligently interpreted your horo. But if we want to analyse sani in 6th H - impediments will be absolved only through consistent Hard Work and competition ( struggle). As you know 6h signifies-competitions, struggle, failures. Sani in 6th aspects 8th and 3rd H. Service will be through personal endeavours and with element of suddeness and surprise. 8th-house of surprises and 3rd -a house of individual's communications and endeavours. Saturn represents consistent hard work with patience and persisitence.Bye Pankaj Inder <indervohra2001 wrote: Dear Anupama, Never get disheartened by some astro prediction. Many chances are that it may go wrong.
