Guest guest
Ya Maniv: Not much has been written about Rahu and Ketu. Neither one of them have form (matter), yet, both have been alloted Mahadasas. In fact, Rahu has been alloted a long 18 year dasa. So, what you say about the 1-7 axis may be accurate. As to KSY/KAY, I've been following three people with KSY in their charts--one is dead, he made over Rs.500 crore in Bombay real estate development, he died violently at 56 years of age, shot dead in Bombay by real estate mafia. The second KSY case lost her father at the age of 22, later divorced her really good husband and now lives in Canada. She seems to go to ignore all societal norms to have her materialisting ambitions fulfilled. The third KSY case divorced her husband over a petty matte, owns her own business and makes good money, she went through surgery at the age of 30 to have a huge cyst removed from her ovaries. All three of these KSY horoscopes I've been following don't seem to have a peaceful life. Ya, I don't have much practical experience in Jyotish, I've been learning/practising for only a few years. Guest guest
Do the charts you mention all have a clear case of the so-called 'KSY- KAY' i.e. no planets conjoining Rahu or Ketu? In which houses does the axis form in the three charts? My aim was not to expose your lack of practical experience I was just commenting on the nature of your statements which seemed to be based solely on textbook theory. I am also a relative beginner; maybe other learned members can add their own perspective based on their practical experience of charts with KSY-KAY. I myself have KSY(yes a 'pure' case) and despite a few setbacks - which are far from griping novel writing material- life thus far has been fairly good. , "monmuk111" <monmuk111> wrote: > > Ya Maniv: > > Not much has been written about Rahu and Ketu. Guest guest
Hello Maniv: All three of the cases I've been following have KSY and no KAY. All three have clear KSY. I personally don't consider a KSY/KAY to be present if a planet is conjuct with either Rahu or Ketu. Some Jyotishas strecth this dictum too thin and began looking at the degrees, i.e. if Rahu is conjuct with Mercury, but Rahu has a higher degree than Mercury, they say that KSY is present. I don't prescribe to such mumbo-jumbo. I looked up Nehru's chart, he has Jupiter conjuct with Ketu; hence, no KSY is present in his chart. In the first case, multi-millionair Bombay builder who was killed had Rahu in 1st and Ketu in 7th. He died when transit Ketu began transiting over Natal Rahu and transit Rahu over Natal Ketu (at almost the EXACT degree)--uncanny. In the second case of really mean-spirited divorcee living in Canada, has Rahu in 6th and Ketu in 12th. Her transit Rahu in Ketu will began transiting her Natal Ketu and Rahu respectively beginning Feb. 2005. I'm anxious to see what happens. I feel the effects of KSY kicks in when the transit Rahu and Ketu began transiting over Natal Ketu and Rahu, i.e. Transit Ketu over Natal Rahu and Transit Rahu over Natal Ketu. Until such time, the KSY native lives a normal life, more or less. In the third case, I don't remember. And, I don't have time to find her horoscope in my huge Jyotish pile. It is good news that your life hasn't had any traumas so far. The key of Jyotish is knowing the pitfalls/karmic blemishes one may face in life based on the birth horoscope and attempt to karmically guard one- self from the impending pitfalls. My intent here is not to spook the KSY natives. I'm not a professional Jyotish, I usually browse a couple of discussion groups and occassionally write or do free readings as my schedule permits. These are just some of my observations based solely on three horoscopes I've been following.
