KSY-KAY is a recent phenomenon and was not mentioned by Parashara so there is not real authority on this issue which leaves it vulnerable to the realms of speculation. In my experiences I've observed that individuals undergo similar trials and tribulations as those attributed to KSY when Rahu-Ketu are placed on the 1-7 axis (with several planets outside this axis).
