Guest guest
Dear Members Namaste, (Please note that Raman Ayanamsa is in use) Lagna Analysis: (Capricorn) Lagna is Uttara ashada owned by Sun. The house is aspected by Sun, the 8th Lord, who is 1st in Shadbala and in Uttamamsa. Ketu aspects and so does Mars ruler of the 4th and 11th 2nd in Shadbala. Rahu is cuspally placed in Lagna. The Lagna shows afflictions. Lagna Lord Saturn is placed in the 2nd house in Moolatrikona Sign and is conjunct 7th Lord Moon. Saturn is 3rd in shadbala and in Uttamamsa. Saturn is the final dispositor of all the planets except Mercury and therefore is very strong. Of all the planets Saturn is the dispositor off, only Venus is benefic. Jupiter is a functional malefic. Moon is neutral and as explained later, the dispositor of malefic planets. Saturn is in Mutual aspect with Yogakaraka Venus who is 6th in Shadbala and in Parijaatamsa. 9th House: (Virgo) The 9th house is aspected by Rahu. The 9th Lord Mercury is placed in own house , Gemini in the 6th in Ardra Nakshatra ruled by Rahu. Mercury is weakest in shadbala. The 3rd and 12th Lord Jupiter aspects the 9th Lord from Swati Nakshatra ruled by Rahu. Mercury is placed at a quadrant from the 9th. The natural significator of Dharma, Jupiter is placed in Swati Nakshatra ruled by Rahu. It conjuncts the 4th and 11th ruler mars. Mars is a violent planet and the combined ruler ship of the 4th and 11th could be construed to mean an inclination to injure (11th house) in the mind (4th house). This conjunction takes place in the house of Karma. Mars is extremely powerful, it is 2nd in shadbala in Uttamamsa, Vargottama and occupies its own Nakshatra Chitra. 9th from the Moon: the 9th house has no aspects. The 2nd and 11th Lord Jupiter occupies the house along with Mars (3rd and 10th Lord). The presence of the 2nd and 11th Lord in the 9th indicates lard amounts of wealth, which is true for the native. Mars as the ruler of the 3rd and the 10th Lord indicate excessive use of force and a manipulative nature. This combination is placed in the house of Dharma. The association of the 9th and 10th Lord forming KarmaDharmadhipathi Yoga is quite clear in the actions of the native and the organization he heads. 10th house (Libra): Occupied by 4th and 11th Lord Mars and Jupiter, the 3rd and 12th Lord, both malefic. The Lords of Gain and Loss occupy the house of Karma. The conjunction of the 12th lord (house of confinement) with the malefic Mars could be the cause for the current detention. The Lord of the 10th Venus is in the 8th indicating humiliation in the field of karma. Venus though weak (6th in Shadbala) is in Parijaatamsa. It is debilitated in Navamsa. Venus is in full sambanda (mutual aspect) with Saturn (1st and 2nd) and Moon (7th Lord). Moon is the dispositor of Sun and Ketu. Sun and Ketu are in very close conjunction (3 deg). Such close conjunction can lead to either megalomania or Moksha as the significator of the soul(sun) and the significator of Moksha (Ketu). But sun is malefic as the ruler of the 8th house. This conjunction takes place in the 7th house, the house of partnership, in a general sense. Sun and Ketu conjunction in the 7th shows a need for dominating control. Natural Significators of the 10th: Sun, the significator of fame and prestige is afflicted by Ketu. Jupiter, the significator of profession is placed in a neutral house conjunct a powerful Mars, the significator of enemies. Mercury, another significator of profession is placed in a dusthana. All the natural signficators of the 10th house are afflicted. 10th from the Moon: (Scorpio) 10th house is aspected by Saturn (1st and 12th Lord from the moon) and Ketu placed in 6th. The 10th Lord is placed in the 9th , again showing the Karmadarmadipathi yoga. The 10th Lord is also the 3rd Lord and aspects the 3rd. Since Mars rules 3rd and 10th it means a motivated mind that lead to questionable actions. Usually a conjunction of Moon and Saturn indicates one of the many characteristics of a renunciate. But in this case, Moon is afflicted because it is the dispositor of sun and Ketu. Among the planets that have Saturn as the dispositor, The benefic Jupiter has been rendered weak. Venus has only moderate strength. The other planets sun and Mars are the strongest in the shadbala and therefore in a stronger position to do harm. We can conclude that the malefic influences on the Lagna are more. Saturn is an Air planet positioned in Aquarius and Air Sign. Saturn is also the Amatyakaraka (2nd degree wise). The overwhelming urge the native experience is to transcend. Venus, the Bhratrukarka, the indicator of brothers and peers is placed in the 8th which represents, among other things, the darker side of our mind. This takes us to the long-term commitment house i.e., 7th house. 7th house: (Cancer) Cancer is the most sensitive and susceptible of signs. Cancer is a water sign. Two fiery planets Ketu and sun occupy. Sun is a malefic being the lord of the 8th. The 7th Lord Moon is placed 8th (a dusthana) from the 7th i.e., in the 2nd house. Moon is conjunct the lagna lord who is under considerable malefic influences. Moon is further weakened by its debilitation in Navamasa. Both the natural significator of the mind, Moon, and the temporal significator , Amatyakaraka, Saturn are placed in Aquarius, where the characteristic of self- negation is the highest. On a higher spiritual plane the native surrenders to the Divine. But in his long –term relationships (Moon being the 7th lord) he has self negated himself to the peer-group as Venus, the Bhratrukarka, aspects Aquarius. Once Ketu Dasa commences in November of 2005, the native may interest himself with what is closest to his heart, Moksha. regards Arun
