Dear All,

 

My concern in previous messages was not to prohibit anyone from

learning or practising japa of mantras, but to ensure

that the sanctity and power of them remain as they are and not get

diluted or polluted. Vedas were not written nor printed

until recent times; they just came down JUST in the original form

from GURU to disciple orally, maintaining the sanctity as it is,

with proper devotion and respect. They were simply not disclosed to

anyone with the fear of them getting diluted or polluted,

which later became the property of a priest class, as a

specialization..well thats different story.

 

I am not against suggesting remedies on net but Mantras can not be

disclosed like that! I do understand the concern of the

astrologers here to rescue the needy, but the remedies gets

complicated with increased number of mantras floating on net.

It again dilutes the concentration of the needy and makes the person

fed up of the process. Please note that complications

in devotion pulls down the popularity of the religion. I don't think

it is wrong to say here that complications in worship

of Hindu gods, gave rise to Buddhism! With 5000 or more years of

history, Hinduism(rather Sanatana Dharma) could not get a

strong root in any foreign country...and 2000 year old Buddhism DID!

1000 year old Islam is doing it very well!

 

Perhaps, on net, I would suggest sahasra namas, Shlokas, Stotras, 108

names of God/Goddess as remedies. If at all there is a

need of Mantra, listen to a casette/cd. If REALLY there is a need to

chant a mantra, get it from a proper person on a proper day,

with clarity of 5th from lagna at the moment or with benefic planet

in lagna or 5th to get the siddhi. If your 5th house in

natal chart allows you some siddhi, you will succeed irrespective of

your background.

 

We must really understand what is really meant by DHARMO RAKSHATI

RAKSHITAH..(Religion protects, being protected).

Even if you suggest a mantra on net, it remains to be a set of

letters without power, without proper initiation.

I never agree that a mantra never needs a guru neither initiation. A

proper disciple stepping towards a guru gets

guru running towards him and that is the matter with one's FIFTH

house.

 

Please never take my words personally, because you all know what I

mean and what I aim at. I know that known is limited

and unknown is unlimited!!
