Guest guest
from:http://www.babaji.net/home.html "Pinda Kacha, Sabda Sacha" The body is perishable, the Word is eternal Shri Haidakhan Babaji is a great spiritual teacher who was living in Haidakhan, India, from 1970 to 1984. To all who came there to visit him from many different countries of the world, He gave the same message: Truth, Simplicity, and Love Karma Yoga (service to humanity) Japa Nam (repeating God's Name) Unity of all religions (find the religion that is in your heart and really follow it, as all religions lead to ONE GOD). He repeated this message over and over. Shortly before he left his body in 1984, he said his head was hot from constantly repeating the same things. He asked a crowd of people "How many of you understand?" A few hands were raised. Then he said, "OK, those who understand, please explain it to those who don't understand." He requests that human beings become humane and treat each other kindly. He says we are approaching a very critical time, which he calls the "Great Revolution." This revolution will be experienced as a purification for those who have the Name of God in their hearts and are practicing the principles of Truth, Simplicity, and Love. For those who have not purified themselves before the Revolution, it can mean total destruction. It is Babaji's desire to get his message to as many human beings as possible, to give them the chance to purify themselves and live on the higher path, in order to save as many people as possible. He says all will have to walk through the fire. Those who are living on the higher path will come through it as a purification and build a new world on the other side of this fire: a world of cooperation, mutually beneficial activities and projects, a sort of golden age, where ego, disruption, and conflict are eliminated. He asked everyone who visited him to take this message back to their home area and to spread the message door to door, so that every home in every village and area in the world would have a chance to be saved by putting the principles into action. Now, with the internet, it is possible to spread this great message throughout the world, even to the most remote areas, for the benefit of all humanity. He insists that we concentrate more on the message than the messenger. As fascinating and charismatic as the personality and physical body are to all of us, what Babaji requests of each of us is to be inspired to live on the higher path and let go of our differences, the selfish attitude of "my and mine," so that we could live in harmony, helping each other to reach our highest potentials. Babaji always said his body is no-body and no-thing. We are to concentrate on the message. We have only to call his name to receive instant blessings whether he has a body or not (reference in "Autobiography of a Yogi," chapter 33). He is in our hearts, whether we see him or not, hear him or not. The teachings are now placed in a beacon of light through this website so they can be conveyed to human beings all over this planet. This beacon is created from the heart of his devotees and placed onto the website in service to humanity. We cannot be idle. We cannot be lazy. We cannot be without purpose. Our purpose is to serve, to elevate humanity, to enable humanity to be purified without destruction as the great fire approaches. The goal is to walk through the fire, be purified and survive to create a new world on the other side. With preparation, with the teachings, with Truth, Simplicity and Love, YOU will be able to jump into the great fire and come out the other side to a better life. To promote and spread the message and Babaji's teachings are the goal of this website. We also ask those who have had personal experiences of Shri Babaji to share those with others here. These stories are very inspiring and help each of us to keep the flame of devotion alive in our hearts. This website is built from the hearts of Babaji's devotees. It is a place and a way for all of us to get together in community, sharing our realizations and insights with each other, even though we may live far apart. Millions of mini-ashrams can be created all over the world to serve the local people of each area. There will be guidelines on how to start a mini-ashram in your area, if you feel you'd like to serve humanity in this way. There are only a few who can live in an ashram. The many will need to stay close to family and work. This will eliminate the need to spend resources on travel or lose time from work. Through this website, the calendar of events can announce when there is Arati or a talk or a video shown of Babaji, with a contact number. Then people can come together in Shri Babaji's name to practice the teachings and help each other during this time of the Great Revolution. The chat rooms and message boards can serve as a place to come together in spiritual community for the benefit of all humanity.
