From antiquities the eclipse is believed somewhat a bad period for some

reasons. It became a ritual after the eclipse is over the people take bath and

go to temple or pray at home to the God they believe much. The reason is both

scientific and religious, scientifically there are much unknown rays strike the

earth so that people take bath.

For pregnant women it is better to take care by being at home itself during the

Solar/lunar eclipse, without allowing any of those sun light or moon light in

general. Astrologically harmful effects catch up much when only the child takes

birth on the eclipse days, but there are much people live with it. But there are

remedies for that too.
