Rohini ji - Vimshopak - jyotishi surveys

I find both of them very useful, vimshopak as well as internet, when

applied properly.

 

I am not aware of any poll that has been conducted as to how many

jyotishis, on internet or elsewhere, use vimshopak. If newsgroups

like this one is a typical representative, most contributers tend to

be beginners or reading seekers. The few who do technical discussions

and are knowledgeable (let us say 40 out of 2000 as a very rough

estimate) represent a miniscule fraction of jyotishis (intermediate

and higher levels) that can be expected to be capable of utilizing

techniques like vimshopak. Is that a safe and meaningful assumption?

 

This does not mean that there might not have taken place a survey

somewhere. Just that I am not aware of, but would certainly be

interested in knowing about it :-)
