This entire thread is funny. Both my mails as well as RK Ji's mails say that 8th

house has both good and bad, and we strictly agree to this point, but all the

thread we discussed it in a way that we were not agreeing to each other !!!

Yes man,did i ever say that 8th house is always good.I only said that it has

good and bad points both like all other houses.As far as violent death is

concerned,the two cases of violent death which immediately come to mind are

Indira and Rajeev Gandhi.Both had mars in the second and not in the 8th.You

see,The divine is very fair.He has distributed good and bad equally amongst all

ppl.So all signs have some good qualities and some bad qualities.You can never

say that such and such sign is very good and such and such sign is very bad.What

applies to signs applies mutatis mutandis to houses.U cannot say that scorpio

the natural 8th sign is a bad sign to be born under.At the most one can say that

it is an extreme sign.So is 8th house a house of extremes,like number 8 in

numerology.U know of ppl with raahu in the 8th having suffered.I can tell u many

living examples of ppl with raahu in the 8th who are doing extremely well.In

fact i have already given an example of this in one of the

posts i send to the group.,which u have attached below.See the trouble is

that ur mind has been programmed to believe that raahu in the 8th is bad.So

whenever u see an example of a person suffering and he has raahu in the 8th,u

attribute it to that and remember it.However u tend to forget cases when there

is suffering even if there is no planet in bad houses.Please understand that

there are only 12 houses in astrology and therefore the chances of a planet

being posted in the 8th house are one in twelve.Then there are nine planets.So

there would be many horoscopes which have planets in the 8th.Do u think all of

them are miserable and all others are not.Bye then RK

Greetings to all,

This thread was an eye opener for me. I consulted

reputed astrologer and he

confirmed that my ascendant is cancer. So now all

planets move one house and

and ketu and mercury are in 9th. He recommended coral

and pearl each 4.0

carats to be worn in a locket,I have not tried it yet.

But thanks for the pointer Allen, and many thanks to

all of you for your
