I found it in an online edition of BPHS that I downloaded quite some time ago. I don't have a paper copy of BPHS - it's a lot easier to search with computer text! ===== Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection ===== Y! Guest guest
most if not all online editions are pirated and god knows what is in those. Read the real thing, before writing something off or maligning it. I have read a few versions of BPHS and in none of those (hindi, english and what little sanskrit I know) have I found the scale that you so confidently claim to be "yo yo". The scale of vimshopaka is linear. Thanks for providing me a great article idea, though, given the confusion I sense in people around vimshopaka ;-) RR , Balaji Narasimhan <sherlockbalaji> wrote: > Rohini ji, > > > Where did you find this scale of values for vimshopak bala. > > I found it in an online edition of BPHS that I downloaded quite > some time ago.
