Jyotish/Astrological Thoughts for the Day....

 

Thursday, October 7th, 2004

 

 

 

Today: "Quick" Thoughts......

 

 

 

Moon moves into Cancer,.... today...

(3rd degree)....at 9am, CDT, US

 

Today, will 'feel' very different.

 

Cerebral Gemini, gives way to more spontaneous, light-hearted,

feeling orientation.

 

Moon loves being in Cancer, (It's Own Sign),

so great next few days....

 

Another Quality:

 

This Month, & Year, Saturn's transiting Cancer, too...

so for the next 2 years, every time, Moon moves through Cancer,

it'll encounter Sani, somewhere...

 

Right now, Saturn's at 2 degrees Cancer, so the 'intenseness' of Saturn,

will be felt for especially a few hours early today...

 

Afterwords, that 'heaviness', will failry quickly begin to subside...

 

 

 

One warning: Combust Mercury!

Sun & Mercury still, only still, 2 degree apart, today

therefore take extra time to think things through!

 

Sun (20:43degrees) & Mercury (22:03) both in Virgo...

 

Today, Mercury begins it's movement, quickly, past the Sun, so if you've

been

experiencing this 'rough' transit, it may feel better today.

 

If still 'groggy', 'foggy', or unclear,

tomorrow, will be better still

 

Each day, now, Mercury will be quickly moving away from 'debilitating' or

combusting Sun!

 

 

Also,

Waning Moon, continues..reflecting... a decidedly, 'inward' quality....

(Begining Last Quarter, now)....

 

Enjoy Inner & then Outer....

"Mark: What does it mean when one is experiencing something that doesn't

seem to be in the transits?

For example I've been feeling very strong Sani qualities, but I can't find

it in the transits."

 

Dear: Thomas: We need to remember that there are 3 primary aspects of

Jyotish/Astrology.

There are these Transits.

But, there are also our dasas, and even our Charts.

Most people say that the 'Chart' represents as much as 50% of one's every

day, real-life experience.

Then, the Dasas, represent another 30 or 40%,

and finally the Transits, 20 or 30%.

 

So, I'm sure you're asking why do we focus on the Transits so much?

 

I've found that Astrology is often, more vividly, experienced when we see

'it' out there!,

in the Transits, in the lives of people at work, or in our friends.

Once we learn to truely, see that Astrology really works....

 

then, we can begin investigating into the other 2 major areas.

where people have joined who want more detailed Jyotish/Astrology, we do

look at all 3 areas all together.
