Guest guest
Rohini ji, BV Raman in "A Cachetism of Astrology," states that a retrograde planet behaves *almost* like it is exalted. However, this cannot be taken to create yogas like Hamsa, Sasa, etc. >From what I have read, a vakra neecha graha gets NB, while a vakra uccha graha is not as powerful as a non-vakra uccha graha. Again, most of my reading is done on the Net, and I don't know how true this is! :-) However, I don't think that vakra + uccha = neecha, though vakra + neecha = neecha banga. Note that, vakra neecha does *NOT* give you NBRY, it merely alleviates some of the difficulty due from the planet during its dasa/bukti/gochara. If any of the above is wrong, please let me know what is right. ===== Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection =====
Guest guest
Dear friends, Working with several charts and examples ,most of us have seen that Vakra or Ucha or Neecha does not have definite results. Some times you get good results sometimes apposite to that. So this simply shows that Neecha, Ucha, Vakra donot have definite indications/results in Natal horoscopes. Now as almost everybody has seen this. Or others will see this working on several charts charts. So it would be good to ignore these features while analysing natal charts. Guest guest
This is great. See my comments... >>>>>>>>BV Raman in "A Cachetism of Astrology," states that a retrograde planet behaves *almost* like it is exalted. However, this cannot be taken to create yogas like Hamsa, Sasa, etc. TAN: I agre that it is LIKE exalted. Same about the Yogas. >>>>>>>>>From what I have read, a vakra neecha graha gets NB, while a vakra uccha graha is not as powerful as a non-vakra uccha graha. Again, most of my reading is done on the Net, and I don't know how true this is! :-) TAN: This CAN BE true. I have not conlcuded my decision on Neecha planets yet. But you can be very true. I shall like to conlcude my opinions when I think I have studied enough charts about it. But I know you can be true. However I have seen that Exalted+Retro is not good like exalted. Sometimes it is strictly like debilitated and sometimes it is bad but not as much bad as debilitated. Also I have seen that Fallen+Retro is generally not bad like fallen and sometimes like exalted but sometimes good but not good like exalted. Looks like there is something important we're missing. Some dirty minded rules relating to Kendra might be there, making us damn confused !! :-D Regards Tanvir. What can not happen, can never happen. Which is mine, is forever mine.
