Guest guest
Hello Members, I have a Scorpio Lagna with Mars as his lord placed in the 8th house, and moon in pisces in 5th house. In vedic astrology lagna and it's lord placement is given a lot of emphasis in regards to the overall life pattern of the person. I have heard so many bad, negative remarks about the 8th house and when i look at my life it somehow seems to contradict with the reading. I seem to have a fairly normal life with, so far in good health, with some set back, but who in this world doesn't. So how important is the lagna in our overall lives? -Lilly
Guest guest
Lagna indeed is very important. But manythings to see like which nakshatra Mars is in, [Each nakshatra / star has it's qualities], strength of Mars, other vital planets' placements, which period you are running etc. Did you have surgeries, bleedings, attack from weapons in life? Guest guest
Any single factor, such as 8th lord in 1st house or lord of 1 in 8th house, are not enough to pronounce a judgment that the nativity will suffer. This kind of discussion/logic is often used casually on message boards but is far from the reality of factors that are or at least must be considered during a proper integrated reading (in contrast to a one-off discussion). One would come across many charts where the 1/8 factor operates but the individual is happy, healthy, wise and accomplished. Mind you in those charts there would be other factors too which must be considered (rajyoga, strength of ascendants, etc). So, the [1/8] factor alone must not be misconstrued to indicate either misery or plentitude! Somehow most of the information based on lagna did not seem accurate or have much to do with me like accidents, bleeding, aggresion, and other negative influence of that house. I have had a fairly normal life so far:) with occassoinal ups and down mostly in my proffesion. My birth details are listed below if anyone wants to have a look. Guest guest
Very correct. Also aspects, exacat placement and association etc would modify the results. Jupiters association/aspect removes difficuties. Also trouble will be caused during the operation of dasa bhukti anthra of the trouble causing planets not throughout the life span. Guest guest
Dear Lilly, Your chart working with KP from cusp to cusp houses, Mars is in 7th house. Jupiter in 5th. Sat in 8th. So Mars has potential to give you marriage in its anthra or bhukti. Venus dasa lord in association with Mercury also favorable as Mer is in star of Mars. You are sincere person and thoughful. You are steady in love affairs and sincere. But Sat in 8th will give you sorrow and troubles due to husband/marriage. Good luck. Guest guest
Hello All, I am currently running a Venus Mahadasha and Rahu sub-period. This rahu sub has given me 2 extreme results in regards to job/income. I did notice that i have been more lonesome than ever(Rahu in 12th H) most of it by choice. I had always been around friends, family but now i prefer to be in solitude. Maybe i am starting to picking up the lagna traits. My previous sub-period of Mars was much more happier, even though i was unemployed at that time. Guest guest
Namaste Lagna Analysis: The Lagna is Scorpio placed in Anuradha Nakshatra owned by Saturn which is Vargottama and Strong. There are no occupants in the Lagna. The Lagna Lord Mars is positioned cuspally in the 8th house, which weakens it, but since it is in its own Nakstatra Mrighashira, the weakness is counter balanced. Aslo in the Bhava Chart Mars occupies the 7th house aspecting the Lagna, and therefore further strengthening the Lagna. Since the Lagna and the Lagna Lord are strong, general physical welbeing is assured. Sixth House Analysis: the 6th House is aspected by Rahu and Saturn two great malefics. The 6th house has Jupiter (ruler of 2nd and 5th house) and ketu. Jupiter being the 2nd house ruler has maraka properties. Sun, The significator of vitality, is in aquarius(Rahu is a co-owner of the house along with Saturn) aspected by Rahu. Sun is positioned in Shatabish Nakshatra ruled by Rahu. There are no benefic aspects on the Sun. Sun is afflicted. The 6th Lord from the Moon is Sun and is positioned in the 12th house from Moon. Moon is strongly positioned in best friend Jupiter's house but in Revathi Nakshatra owned by 8th Lord Mercury. Merucry is in a trine (5th) from Lagna and is the Bhagyapathi (Lord of the 9th)i.e, the 9th Lord in the 5th which is very good position. Your general well being is assured, but during the period September 2005 to October 2006, your health may take a dip for the following reasons The Dasa Lord Venus is in conjunction with the 8th Lord Mercury. The Bhukthi Lord for the period is Jupiter who is the Lord of the 2nd placed in the 6th house. During that period, transit Saturn (The Significator of Ayur) will be in Cancer (its own natal position) aspecting both the natal Venus (Dasa Lord) and natal Jupiter (Bukthi Lord). Transit Jupiter will be in Libra aspecting the 6th house. Once this period passes your health should bounce back. Regards Arun
Guest guest
Dear Arun, You are right about the sun, and Rahu being afflicted, since the biggest setbacks i had in my life was in the area of my career/profession. I also suffer from low energy level, ocassional headaches, lack confidence, courage, and esteem mostly in my career/profession. Is there some remedy for this affliction? I was prescribed Sun Mantra/Sun Worship by an astrologer but don't have it with me right now.Thanks. -Lilly , "arun" <savitarcyber> wrote: > > Namaste > > Lagna Analysis: > The Lagna is Scorpio placed in Anuradha Nakshatra owned by Saturn > which is Vargottama and Strong. Guest guest
Dear Lilly Namaste, "The astrology of the seers" By Dr. David Frawley gives and excellent overall remedy for planetary afflictions. Best is to do Surya Namaskar in the Mornings facing the east. Surya Namaskar steps will be available in Hatha Yoga books. Wear Bright Colours and light clothes. Avoid dark places. Diet wise you can take spicy and fiery herbs, and the Ayurvedic formula Trikatu. Use fragrances like camphor, cinnamon, eucalyptus, saffron. Pray to your Ishta Devata regularly. regards Arun , "tigresslilly2005" <tigresslilly2005> wrote: > > > Dear Arun, > You are right about the sun, and Rahu being afflicted, since the > biggest setbacks i had in my life was in the area of my > career/profession.
