Guest guest
Dear Shadbhuj gour das, Looks like very interesting mantra; can you also tell us in which authentic work we find this mantra? I would love to know the DRASHTARA sage, devata of the mantra, chandas of composition etc and the source. By the way do you know why and when is this mantra used especially with Beejaksharas? eagerly, KAD , "Shad" <waterpowers> wrote: > Dear Prtha dd > jai sri sri guru gauranga radha krsna, > > i suggest you chant the following mantra 21 times, thrice a day: > ' aum aam kum kurmaaya namah' > > " the Kurma Avatar, or Divine Tortoise" specifically Saturn for the > Vaisnava:-) > > hare krsna > Shadbhuj gour das >

Beej Mantra : A mantra is full of shakti and there are various beej mantra each with it own power. When mixed with other mantras, they provide extra power to that mantra. Basic beej mantra "Om" is further expanded into the following types of beej - yog beej ,tejo beej, shanti beej and raksha beej, which are respectively known as aeng (aim) hreem, sreem, kreem, kleem, dum, gam, glaum, lam, yam, aam or um or ram. " Wife of Kurma Avatar, or Divine Tortoise is Sri Mahalakshmi "Aam"is the Bija,"Shrimm"is the shakti and "hrim" is the kilaka. The mantra has more power. It is sufficient to chant °aum kurmaaya namah'or shani mantra is the same. best regards Shad , "kadrudra" <kadrudra> wrote: > Dear Shadbhuj gour das, > > Looks like very interesting mantra; can you also tell us in which > authentic work we find this mantra? > I would love to know the DRASHTARA sage, devata of the mantra, > chandas of composition etc and the source. > By the way do you know why and when is this mantra used especially > with Beejaksharas? > > eagerly, > KAD > > > > , "Shad" <waterpowers> > wrote: > > Dear Prtha dd > > jai sri sri guru gauranga radha krsna, > > > > i suggest you chant the following mantra 21 times, thrice a day: > > ' aum aam kum kurmaaya namah' > > > > " the Kurma Avatar, or Divine Tortoise" specifically Saturn for the > > Vaisnava:-) > > > > hare krsna > > Shadbhuj gour das > >

Guest guest
Dear Gaurav ji, thank you for this kind addition! I am no jyotishi, nor am I qualified to give mantras to others. I am merely here on this group to seek advice for my little self, and to learn more about jyotish from people as you are! That I knew this kurma mantra is simply chance, but for sure I can say that when someone in life suffers due to bad karma, it will be auspicious if one worships the Lord and His devotees, and chant the holy names of Our Lord. All misery vanishes like this. And karma improves. In spiritual and material, as side effect. Below I copied a really beautiful bhajan, which is very auspicious to the devotee who chants it. SHIVA SHAMBO SHIVA SHAMBO SHIVA SHAMBO (2x) KALYANA MURATI NAMO NAMAH NAMO NAMAH NAMO NAMAH (2x) GIRIJAPATI GANGA DHARE HARA HARA (2x) HARA HARA HARA HARA NAMO NAMAH (2x) KALYANA MURATI NAMO NAMAH NAMO NAMAH NAMO NAMAH (2x) SHIVA SHAMBO... SHIVA SHAMBO O benevolent Lord, benevolent Lord, You who are the personification of all that is good. I bow down to you again and again. Husband of Girija, daughter of the mountain, Carrying Ganga in your locks. Shiva Hara Hara, you take away all the miseries of life. I bow down to you again and again. Maybe with this mantra shani one can also protect from the bad influence of shani. It is Lord Siva who impowered shani/ saturn as judge and to judge over our sins. Siva means all-auspicious. If His name is pronounced everything in life will be auspicious. Warm regards, Shad , "Gaurav Sharma" <gauravkom> wrote: > > Dear Shad, > > The post is really informative. GirishK
Hare Krsna, All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I was hoping someone could tell me which canto and what chapter/verse this mantra is found in. I've been hopelessly searching for days!
