I used two software programs to calculate your chart, using

28N59 & 77E42 as the coordinates, and got the Lagna as Dhanur,

29 degrees and 50/51 minutes. This means that Guru is your

Lagnadipati, and is uccha and vakra in the 8th house.

 

It is a little difficult to analyze retrograde planets. Common

sense suggests that, since a retrograde debilitated planet gets

neecha banga, similarly, an exalted, retrograde planet cannot

possess full power. Other learned members can perhaps comment on

this. But, just as neecha bhanga doesn't fully overcome the

problems, similarly, the full power of a retro exalted planet

cannot be taken away. For this reason, I think that the Hamsa

Yoga (from Chandra Lagna) and the Gaja Kesari Yoga will operate

with some strength.

 

However, this apart, there is a problem in having *TWO* exalted

planets in a chart with any form of relationship between them.

For example, having both Guru and Sani uccha is not good,

because Sani can aspect Guru and spoil some of the

significations. In your case, Kuja is also uccha, and the mutual

aspect, while causing Guru Mangala Yoga, could also spoil the

significations of both these grahas.

 

The most disturbing thing in your chart is the fact that Sani

and Rahu are conjunct in Sukra's star, Purva Phalguna, and

aspected by Kuja. This relationship between the three malefics

is very bad, especially since Sukra is a maraka from Chandra

Lagna, and Sani a maraka from Lagna. You underwent Surya - Rahu

- Sani from May 2003 - July 2003, and I think that this would

have been an intense period for you. To an extent, some checks

and balances are there because Sani and Rahu, who are creating

Shrapit Yoga, are in the 9th house, and this, while spoiling the

significations of the 9th, at least means some control of the

benefic Navamadipati over them. The aspect of Kuja, lord of the

5th, might be good, but Kuja being Kuja--and more importantly,

Kuja also being lord of the 12th--this could cause a lot of

difficulties.

 

You will be undergoing Surya - Sani - Rahu from July 2005 - Aug

2005, and I would advice you to be prepared in advance. You

could do some shanti - I have no idea what to do, you could

contact some reliable priest and/or visit some popular Navagraha

temples - and develop sincere devotion to God and seek His

blessings to ward off the difficulty. In a way, Surya, as lord

of the 9th, should give you good results, but since he is

involved with the lord of the 12th and 6th, the potential for

doing good will be diluted.

graha helping you currently is Sukra, who is saving day and

name. Apart from this, there are only malefic influences - Rahu

is in your birthstar Ashwini, Sani is hampering tithi, Ketu is

affecting name, and Rahu and Ketu are both aspecting Lagna. Of

these, Star, tithi, and lagna are malefically afflicted, with

absolutely no help from benefics. I would again advice you to be

careful and continue to pray to God.

Retro Jup in 7th house...does it means it acts as deb...i have

seen

mixed reviews...some say it becomes more strong....am going

thru..Sun

maha dasa...and i recently underwent Sun-Jup period and it was

good.

Does Hamsa yoga hold true in my case...plus i have gajkessari in

 

natal D9 and D20 wut does it signify?...i shall be thankfull if

u

clear my doubts...
