I'm been asked recently by many of new members about the different classes

and services that we provide. I thought it might be time to send out a

fairly complete description of all of these.

 

About 3 years ago, I first thought of developing a specific 'business', to

utilize and apply all the great things I've learned from Jyotish/Astrology

to everyday life. I've been doing Charts, of course, for many years, but it

kept coming back to me to develop a unique kind of business that could

promote Astrological Solutions for different groups in society.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Products, Services, Classes & Courses

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today, I'm very happy to describe the following programs that are presently

available.

 

1) Astrological Charts

 

Traditionally, 'Astrological Charts' have always been done, or 'Readings',

to give people a 'taste of Jyotish'....

 

For me, I've grown up where I've been taught, in this Vedic Tradition, that

the individual student, 'Is The Knower'....

 

And Traditionally, where the Jyotishee has mostly done the chart, for the

person, I believe there is a completely new and superior kind of Jyotish

growing where the Individual, themselves, actively participates in the

acquisition of their Jyotish.

 

 

3 Basic Charts

 

 

A) Natal or Birth Chart

 

My first, primary, 'Natal' or 'Birth' Chart that I do, has evolved into a

2-part 'Reading'. This mean's the 'Reading' consists of 2 sessions,

normally of about 1 hour in length, first one, and then another, a week or

two later.

This allows for the person to contemplate their 'Jyotish Reading' for some

time, receive a copy of 'our' Tape Recorded Session, and even come up with

some new questions or reactions from their first Session.

 

Cost: $ 125.00

Includes 2, One Hour sessions, and tape recordings of both sessions.

 

This initial, basic or Natal chart can also be done in 1 session, of an Hour

and a half, for $ 100.00 This reading can also be tape recorded.

 

 

B) Progression or Yearly Chart

 

Every year, the Sun returns to the exact degrees that it was 'at', at the

exact time of our 'birth Charts'. If you make a new chart on this new, day,

each year, all the other planets will be in different places. This

'Progression' chart, then, is a great peep, into what the qualities and

challenges of this up-coming year, will be like.

I also like to combine the details of this Progression chart with the unique

appreciation of what 'Dasas' or Time Periods, will also be running

throughout this upcoming year.

 

Cost $ 50-75.00

Time: Can be as short as 1/2 an hour, up to 1 hour in length.

Can be tape recorded.

 

C) Prashna or Questions Chart

 

Ask any questions about any aspect of your life, or chart. This reading,

looks at all aspects of one's chart, and finds the quick and deep answer to

any question.

 

Cost: $ 25-50.00

Can be tape recorded.

 

Time: 15 to 30 mins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) Astrology Courses, classes

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have taught Jyotish classes for years now, but about 2 years ago, I

discovered that Jyotish classes could also be taught over the Net!

 

All these Internet courses consist of Weekly Lessons which I write during

each 'Week' of the course, and people are free to follow the lesson plans at

their leisure.

 

The courses consist of individual instruction, and during each week's

'homework' or lessons, I'm available to answer all questions.

 

A) Basic - Beginner's Course

 

This course is a good course for anyone who would like to start at the

beginning.

Can be taken by those with a moderate amount of experience in

Astrology/Jyotish, as well; for a very profound Basis in Jyotish.

 

4 Week Course

 

Week One: Introduction

 

Introduction to Jyotish, the 'basics', the 'Philosophy', and 'How to Study

Jyotish.

Also, a strong 'basis' of Jyotish study, begins with a thorough

understanding of one's own life; a list of all of one's Qualities,

Tendencies & Characteristics, will be compiled, so that later; they'll be

able to be 'combined' with one's Jyotish Chart.

 

Week Two: Discovering the Jyotish/Astrological Self.

 

We are 'Astrological'. The Universe is Astrological. It always has been,

is today, and will 'always', be! We are a Universe of Suns, Planets and

Stars! The 'inherent' Meanings, of these 'Realities' is the focus of good

Astrology. In week 2, we'll begin comparing all the Qualities and

Characteristics, that you know about yourself, to your Jyotish Chart. This

Week Covers how the Planets reflect one's Personality, Individuality,

Psychology and Physiology.

 

Week Three: Jyotish moving Out into the World

 

Week Three then looks at one's chart, as it begins to relate to 'others' and

the 'World'. This week we begin covering Houses and how the 'birth chart'

covers every aspect of Human Life.

 

Week Four: Conclusion - Fate & Free Will

 

Week Four, then, pulls it all together, talks about how one's Astrology

chart, is not only about one's 'life', what one has come to be, and do in

this life; but...

it's also about opportunities, growth, change, even transformation. This

final week introduces the concept of Jyotish Transformation and how one can

literally Change One's Stars, to solve any and all Problems in Life!

 

 

B) Medium Course

 

This course is appropriate for those with a fairly 'deep' understanding of

their charts already. This course then, quickly reviews all the most

important aspects of Understanding One's Chart and then, quickly moves into

How to Use Jyotish to Change & Improve one's life.

 

In the old days, in fact, as recently as 16 years ago, when you'd pick up

any Jyotish book, there would be 195 pages on the 'Jyotish' and then, at the

end, as if, a kind of after thought, would be 5 pages on Jyotish Remedies.

 

Jyotish has been stuck in the 'fatalistic' aspect of life. In Truth, life

is both. We are living a reflection or consequences of our past actions or

karmas. But, we're also free, to some degree, that allows us to grow, to

change, to transform in the present and into our Futures!

 

This course is about How to Do That!

 

"The Malefics in Jyotish are not only indicative of our problems, griefs,

and disappointments. The Malefics are also indicative of our Jyotish

Solutions!"

 

 

 

Week One: Introduction: How to Transform through Jyotish

 

Week One consists of a thorough synopsis of the 'basics' and introduces the

concept and Psychology of How to Transform! This is the key to Jyotish, and

to Life! Life is not just about our fates or problems. Life is about

living certain strengths and transforming the 'Weaknesses' into Strengths!

The Key to Jyotish as it is in life, is to Understand and also know how to

Transform.

 

Week Two: Jyotish Discrimination; 'Benefics & Malefics'

 

The 'Key' to Jyotish Transformation, is what I like to call: 'Jyotish

Discrimination'.

Jyotish makes this interesting classification of 'Benefics & Malefics'....

Knowing how to 'distinguish' between our Strengths, as Benefics and our

Weaknesses, as our Malefics ....is literally, the Key, to Jyotish

Transformation!

 

 

Week Three: Jyotish Transformation

 

Week Three focus on the mechanics of how to change, improve and transform,

any 'malefic' Planet, into it's opposite 'Own House' or 'Exalted' Status!

This is a very profound and unique contribution of 'Starlight Unlimited', to

be able to see into the very nature of Jyotish; and see what has been

missing and how we can use Jyotish to solve any problem in life.

 

Week Four: Conclusion - Solving All Problems in Life

Discovering the Inherent Wisdom of Every Planet

 

In Week Four: Jyotish clearly understands that the 'Jyotish chart', is an

accurate picture or snapshot of the life that one is living. However, it's

not enough to know that these will be my strengths and these, my problems.

The key to life, is growth.

And the key to growth, is understanding the Nature of 'Malefic Planets'.

Malefics not only represent our 'Problems' or 'Challenges' in life; they

also represent our mistaken thought Patterns!

Western Psychology today, understands that people undermine or sabotage

themselves in their lives; whether it's being attracted to someone like dear

ol' dad, to the archaic Philosophies like: 'No pain no gain', or 'you've got

to spend $, to make it".

Whatever the Problem in life, Jyotish understands that the 'fault' lies in

ourselves, in our education, or lack of, Wisdom.

Every Planet in Jyotish represents an aspect of life, Knowledge or Wisdom

that needs to be lived for Success and Happiness, to result.

This course is appropriate for those with a very profound, quick

appreciation of Jyotish and/or those who have already taken previous Jyotish

classes, from me.

This course is designed especially for those who have already mastered A)

Jyotish Understanding, and would like to focus, almost completely on B)

Jyotish Transformation. This course is ideal for Professional, 'parents',

'teachers', 'doctors', 'nurses', healers and self-improvement professionals

in all fields.

 

There are two primary aspects of Jyotish.

 

Understanding...

and

Transformation....

 

Understanding the '1 to 1 Correspondence' between ourselves, our lives,

qualities, tendencies and Characteristics, and our Jyotish Charts...is the

key to step One.

 

Learning how to take that Knowledge, and change, improve, even, literally,

transform any weak, or Malefic situation in our charts, into it's opposite,

'balanced', or strong Possibility.... is the Key to Jyotish Transformation.

 

In the first Two Weeks of this Course, we will go over all the basics, and

cement a powerful foundation for all Jyotish Transformation.

 

Weeks 3 & 4, will focus then on how to apply this great, Jyotish Technology,

to Oneself, and especially for Others.

Depending upon 'our' actions in the Past, we have found ourselves in our

Present, Astrological 'Selves'....

Learning how to inspire others to grow, is the focus on this week.

 

Week Four: Conclusion - Solving All Problems in Life

Learning How to be A Success, in All Areas of Life.

 

In Week Four: we'll focus on how to apply this tremendous 'Wisdom', into

any and every aspect of life. This is very profound, especially since

Success in life, depends upon either 1) having Jyotish strengths, or...2)

learning how to personally, transform any weakness into it's opposite,

Strength!

 

This week, we'll also focus on the practicalities of how to implement these

Jyotish Principles into the every day life of people's Professional

'Practices', whether as a

o teacher

o parent

o health professional

o career guidance,

etc.

 

All 3 of these courses have 2 Tracks to them.

 

Track A, is course lessons with personal Jyotish readings in the beginning

and end of each course. Or Track B, is course lessons without the personal

Jyotish Chart, readings.

 

Track A: At the beginning of each Course; personal Chart readings will be

done, and then at the end of the course, a follow up 'reading' will conclude

each course.

About 14 years ago I first discovered Jyotish Transits. These 'transits'

are what each Planet is doing in the Present, at every moment.

 

When you watch how you 'feel' during each of these Transits, you'll come to

understand how to deal better with the Astrological Environments in which we

live.

4) Become Your Own Best Jyotishee!

 

 

 

 

 

 

For years, Jyotish & even Western Astrology has been practiced, going to see

a professional Astrologer.

 

Recently, it's become quite popular for anyone to learn their own Jyotish.

 

This trend is a very new and exciting change in the entire field of Jyotish.

 

One famous, Vedic Scholar recently said:

 

"You all will be your Own best Jyotishee!"

 

I would have loved hearing this for me, though I was only 1 of over 450

people attending an Ayurvedic course, in India, in 1988.

 

 

A) Teacher Training Course

 

Last year I began talking about creating my first Jyotish, teacher training

course. This year, we will begin this historic occasion.

 

12 Part Jyotish Teacher Training.

 

12 Months of Jyotish, to create a certification in Jyotish, at successful

conclusion.

 

To be a success in Jyotish there are two primary prerequisites that I

believe are necessary for true success.

 

#1 One must enjoy finding the 1 to 1 Correspondence between people's lives

and their Astrological Selves. If you enjoy finding the 'reasons' why, in

people's charts, they are the way that they are. and

 

#2 You enjoy helping people, have a giving, and supportive personality,

these qualities go a long way at being a success in Jyotish.

 

 

o Month One: Introduction to Jyotish; covering the entire range of

Philosophy, Psychology, Methodologies of Jyotish and How to Study & Master

Jyotish.

 

o Month Two: Discovering One's Astrological Self.

Jyotish is a path of Self-Realization or Enlightenment. As one 'discovers'

one's true, natural, Astrological Nature within, one gains the Knowledge and

Wisdom how to live the life that we were born to live!

 

o Month Three: Mastering the Main aspects of Jyotish:

Planets, Houses, Signs, Dasas ....

These 4 Aspects of Jyotish are crucial for developing a professional career

in Astrology. Many people study too many of the many branches of Jyotish,

and I've found it more crucial to become quite skilled at these basics.

90% of the time, people's questions can be answered by knowing deeply, the

answer to these main areas.

 

o Month Four: Jyotish has 2 Primary Areas: Understanding &

Transformation.

Most people think Jyotish is 90% about 'Understanding' one's Jyotish;

however, it's even more important to learn how to change, uplift, balance,

improve and even transform any of the negatives in one's Chart, into it's

subsequent healthy, balanced, and even, Benefic, full potential.

 

o Month Five: Mastering the Quality of Dasas, or Time-Periods, along

with all other aspects of one's Jyotish Chart. This area is very important

because at any one time; we all live 3 major Dasas periods. There's the

main dasa, or MahaDasa, there's the middle, range dasa period called

Antardasa, and then there's the smallest, dasa called Bhukti.

Think of these 3 dasas, like meals being prepared in a gourmet meal.

At any one time, there are 3 main dishes that are on the oven being cooked.

At any one time, there are 3 dasas, which represent the 'karma' of those 3

Planets in one's chart, 'cooking' or coming back to us, at that time.

Knowing this aspect of Jyotish is fundamental at being able to make accurate

predictions into the future.

 

o Month Six: Beginning to Look at the Charts of Others.

Jyotish is a self-referral kind of Knowledge. That's why in the beginning,

Jyotish is best studied, looking at one's own chart. During this month,

we'll look at and do the charts of every family member as well as a number

of 'friends' charts. I find people learn Jyotish by studying their own

charts. But, Mastery comes when we learn how to see those same principles

and realities in others charts.

 

o Month Seven: Study the Charts of Acquaintances, and people unknown to

us.

Once one learns one's own chart, and the charts of one's closest and

dearest, then one needs to branch out into the lives and charts of others.

This month will focus on how best to learn and master the Art & Science of

bringing Jyotish to others.

 

o Month Eight: Utilizing One's Jyotish for one's chosen field of

Profession.

Most people have a particular 'slant' or aspect to their Career, charts that

will allow them to be the most successful in Career. This month will focus

on how one might begin developing one's new Jyotish skill into a marketable,

financially successful career. Many possible applications of Jyotish skill

include:

Professional Astrologer

Teacher, whether of children, high school, college or Adult education.

Health Field

Interpersonal relations, Partnerships, social interpersonal interactions

Business

Career in Financial Planning, ie. Success in all aspects of Financial Health

Spiritual Practices

 

o Month Nine: Understanding the Wholeness of Jyotish

Jyotish, like most things can't help but be 'studied' in parts. We look at

this part, we look at this one, this aspect or this one. But, eventually,

we have to realize that 'life' is every aspect, all at once. During this

Month, we'll learn to 'feel' all aspects of Jyotish, as a whole, and how

exactly, how to convey that 'wholeness' to others.

 

o Month Ten: Life Purpose, Dharma, and Career Success.

Most people think that 'success' in Career, is a matter of examining the

10th House of Career, 10th House Lord, and any Planets in the 10th house,

aspecting the 10th House, or 10th House Lord. However, there's another way

of looking at Life Purpose, and that is to understand how one's truest

Dharma, or life purpose is to understand and transform literally, every

aspect of one's chart. If even 1 or 2 of the different aspects of one's

chart, is ignored or misunderstood, then success and fulfillment in life

will be lacking.

 

o Month Eleven: How to Gain in Life.

Jyotish traditionally looks at 3 Money houses to understand financial wealth

in life. However, the 11th House of Gain, is not just the house of money,

'gain', but it contains the complete Wisdom as to how we gain in life. We

will also look at the 12th House of 'Expenditures' and the 2nd House of

Wealth, to understand...#1) why we're experiencing the Financial Karma we

are, and #2) how to literally increase our good luck and fortune at

attracting wealth and Nature support.

 

o Month Twelve: The Goal of Jyotish, is the Goal and Purpose of Life.

Jyotish is extremely precious in the field of Understanding

Life-fulfillment. Contained in one's Chart is the particular path through

which one will gain personal fulfillment in life. In addition, during this

month, we'll examine 'all' the many particular paths that are possible, and

conclude with the Ultimate Fulfillment of All of Life!

5) Other Plans for Applying Jyotish

 

 

 

 

 

 

One of my dreams for a number of years has been to create a kind of

'psychics' Jyotish, Consciousness, hot-line. This would be similar to the

old, psychics hot lines, but would involve professionally trained new

Jyotishees, trained in being able to easily and quickly identify any of

people's chart's problems and prescribe and suggest concrete solutions that

will quickly fulfill people's dreams.

 

Primary Goal: To have 100 people trained.

I'm hopeing that we'll be able to start this plan in approximately 2 years.

 

Year One: Train 10-30 people who are interested in developing this

business.

Year Two: Having trained an initial 10 or 20 new Astrologers, this 2nd

year, will be spent training the rest. The initial 'Astrologers' who will

be Associates, will be very involved in the personal training of a group of

new people.

 

 

 

 

 

 

6) Jyotish Multi-level Business

 

 

 

 

 

 

There's a great need in the world today, to begin investing financially in

many of these kinds of spiritual or holistic new businesses.

 

This multi-level aspect to Starlight Unlimited will encourage everyone to

tell their friends, family and loved ones all about this great possibility

in life.

 

If we can help 'others' attract the financial means to continue supporting

and developing great Jyotish programs, we'll accomplish a very important,

highly needed new Knowledge in this World.

 

This multi-level aspect will reward people for many different ways of

encouraging others to join in and particpate any and all of our programs.

 

 

Obviously, I'm open to many new and exciting aspects of promoting this great

Jyotish that we're all a part of.

One of the greatest things I've learned these last 16 years, is that success

in life,

in an inner, Self-Realization, or Enlightenment.

However when we want to bring 'success' to the 'outer', this then, depends

upon inspiring and working together with others.

 

I've enjoyed immensely, the new association and growth of Knowledge that

we've been experiencing together these last 2 years.
