Doubt in Gaj-kesari & Bhadra Yoga (retro/exalted/vargottam planets)

Hi all

 

Please clarify nmy doubt :-

 

doubt in gaj-kesari and bhadra yoga when planets are retro/exalted

==================================================================

 

I have analysed a chart and i made following observations:-

 

1> it had "gaj-kesari" yoga in

navamsa chart. but the doubt is that JUPITER is

Retro but is in its own house (pisces).

In navmasa chart , moon+ jupiter are co-joined in

8th house (pisces). so is gaj-kesari yoga still valid with retro

jupiter. Also note that Jupiter is exalted in both rasi & navmasa

charts. Jupiter is also vargottam.

 

 

2> mercury is retro-exalted in both rasi + navmasa

chart so will bhadra-yoga be valid (as mercury is retro)?

Mercury is also vargottam

 

birth details are:-

Time: 5:28PM Zone: 5:30 DST :0

Longitude: 77E12 Latitude: 28N35

Place -> New Delhi

Hi sindhu,

 

Moon and Jupiter either in opposition or cojunction (not for western type)

causes gaj-

kesari yoga...

But moon and jupiter should be good positions...

 

Any other suggestion / criteria?

and then you have mentioned

 

"Also note that Jupiter is exalted in both rasi & navmasa charts."

 

How is this possible? Is Pisces exaltation point for Jupiter. or am i

missing something....?

 

For second question for retro-exalted Mercury does Bhadra yoga

matters? Think for while... And check whether it is in kendras or

not?

Dear friends,

 

SUB: About the formation of GajaKesari and Bhadra Yoga

 

Any YOGA is said to present in any native chart only when the planets

are placed in specified positions in RASHI chart only.

Of course there are many exceptions which take into account the

Navamsha chart for the formation of YOGA like MahaPushkaraYoga

But there is no GajaKesari yoga formed in any Navamsha chart.It just

speaks of the positions and strengths in Navamsha varga.

Gajakesari yoga is present in Rashi chart.

 

About Bhadra yoga, the YOGA is again present by position (STHITI) and

cancelled by movement(GATI). One can refer to

classicals like Uttara Kalamrita for how retrogression modifies Yogas

and positions.And Bhadra yoga is cancelled since

Sun and Moon are together!

 

Last bit: Hamsa yoga in this chart is also cancelled, for the same

reasons.

I have my birth data as follows

DOB 27-11-1970

TOB 5:59 AM

POB Durg

 

In my chart there is moon-jupiter conjunction in 12th house (Libra Rashi). Also

there is Moon- Mangal conjunction in 12th.

You said that "moon and jupiter should be good position. Can we consider this as

a Gaj-Kesari and Chandra mangal youga kundli? As 12th house is not considered

very good house will it weaken the effects of these yogas?

I'm just started and student of VA.

Some gurus must be consulted Ji,..

 

Regarding Gaja-kesari yoga;

Ofcourse the positions does matter for the yoga to be full...

Not only that, the dasa also matter a lot...

Even in case of Gaja -kesari yoga, the person should pass through the Moon

or Jupiter dasa to get the advantage of yoga...

Even if the vessel is full of amritha, one should know it is amritha and should

taste it to get the effects...If a person has gaja kesari yoga, and if he dont

have the chance to go through moon or jupiter dasas, what is the use?
