I was reading Tanvir's experiences too, a mixed bag... but again felt he is not a big fan of gems. However percevie this In reality one gets the sons, cows, corns, and then the diamond in that order. Guest guest Posted September 1, 2004 Report Share Posted September 1, 2004 Hello Manju: Here goes my "Gemstone" experience as you requested: I felt no effect AT ALL either positive or negative and I had done all the requsite procedures to "activate/strengthen/energize" these gems with mantras, poojas, washing them in milk and holy water, etc. A year or two of looking like an American Gangster, I took them all off. The Kavachs that I was wearing, I left all them at a Kal-Bhairav temple in India. Gems are just a piece of carbon that shine. They neither harm nor help an individual. I just don't see the physical connection between a piece of carbon and human flesh/bones and human consciousness. Gems don't have a strong electo-magnetic feild that could effect a person's brain and behavior. Gemstones are just a means for the Jyotish and the Jeweler to make money, nothing more and nothing less. Well, enough about my experience. There are people who'd strongly disagree with me. And, there are people who're selling power- pendants, energized power-kavach (shields) and Gemstones who'd want to beat me up for saying what I said above.
