Guest guest
Hello Amar: Thank you for the analysis. Here is my feedback: I currently live in Seattle, USA; however, I've spent most of my US time in San Francisco area. Was an engineering student in India, joined Stanford University in the US, couldn't keep up due to lack of tution so changed my major to Finance as a cheaper University. Yes, I'm in the finance field, primary work is advising and consulting. Once again you're right--September 89 to Feb. 91 was the 2nd worst period of my life; however, this EXACT period (beginning Sept.89) also took me abroad and went through some exotic experiences.-- Unusual period, brought me abroad and gave me admission into a good school and later a scholarship, but I was so poor that I didn't have food to eat. Why do you say Saturn is benefic? Are you using Systems Approach? Mars-Saturn was the worst period of my life, emotionally and financially I was at a breaking point during this period. Jupiter may not be as afflicted by funcionally malefic Venus as every time I go through a Jupiter antardasa, problems and enemies miraculously vanish and I (including my mon and dad who live in India) go through a GREAT time. AS I SAID ABOVE, YOU WERE RUNNING THE SUB PERIOD OF RAHU (SEPT.89 - FEB. 91)WHICH IS ONE OF THE KARKA FOR FOREIGN RESIDENCE AND RAHU FROM ITS NATAL POSITION ASPECTS YOUR NATAL MOON IN 10H OF FOREIGN RESIDENCE WHICH BROUGHT YOU ABORAD OBVIOUSLY BUT WITH DIFFICULTIES AS MENTIONED BY YOU. > > Why do you say Saturn is benefic? NATURALLY, BECAUSE TRANSIT KETU OPERATING FROM 12H OF LOSSES WAS VERY CLOSELY AFFLICTING THE TRANSIT SATURN (RULER OF 5H OF EMOTIONS) IN GEMINI SIGN OF VENTURE AND INITIATIVES WITH MERCURY (THE SECONDARY KARKA OF INCOME) OCCUPYING THE 8 HOUSE OF OBSTRUCTION DEMONSTRATED THE SITUATION OF FINANCIALLY AND EMOTIONALLY BREAKING POINT DURING THAT PERIOD IN THE MAIN PERIOD OF MALEFIC MARS. > > Jupiter may not be as afflicted by funcionally malefic Venus as every > time I go through a Jupiter antardasa, problems and enemies > miraculously vanish and I (including my mon and dad who live in > India) go through a GREAT time. AS I SAID EARLIER IN MY POST THAT JUPITER IS EXALTED BUT WEAKENED DUE TO THE CONJUNCTION WITH THE MALEFIC VENUS. IN ANTARDASA OF JUPITER, THE GURU HAS TO GIVE YOU GOOD RESULT BUT DURING THE TRANSIT AFFLICTION TO JUPITER BY THE MALEFICS SUCH AS VENUS, MARS, RAHU AND KETU WILL BRING SET BACKS IN YOUR LIFE. PLEASE WATCH FOR IT. NEXT MAY 2005, RAHU MAIN PERIOD WILL BEGIN AS SOON AS MARS/MOON PERIOD END ON APRIL, 2005 THAT IS WHY I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TO PROPITIATE THE MALEFICS AND STRENGTHEN THE WEAK BENEFIC PLANETS. Guest guest
Hello Amar: Yep, you confirmed my doubt that you were using Systems Approach (SA) to analyze my horoscope. Amar, I've studied SA and under this approach Saturn is a great benefic for Scorpio Langa (ascendant) and Rahu is a great malefic. In my own case Saturn appears to be a great malefic and Rahu appears to be a benefic which doesn't jive at all with SA. Ya, you've attempted to explain why I had the worst experience in my life during Mars-Saturn; however, I feel that bad results were due to Saturn's funcionality (functional malefic) and being great enemy of Mars rather than transit Ketu. Every time I've gone through Rahu antar or pratyantar, my enemies have been destroyed, my connections with "foreign" people/things/cultures have increased and I've experienced GREAT sensual & exotic experiences. These experiences of mine go hand in hand with the classical dictums of Rahu in 6th. During Mars-Rahu, I received my CPA licence and I travelled the world, got a personal bank credit line of $130,000, etc., etc. Even during Moon-Rahu, Rahu played a more positive role than negative- -which 21 year old wouldn't want to go abroad for higher learning? Rahu fulfilled my dream of going abroad. Ya, there were the usual hardships of being separated from my family, adjusting to a new culture and climate, dealing with lack of funds; however, my major goal of going abroad was accomplished due to Rahu. So, here too, Rahu was more benefic than malefic which fits the classical dictum or Rahu in 6th from Lagna. If we use SA, Rahu should have given me horrible experiences rather than what I described in the preceding paragraph. I have similar experience with Saturn, i.e. my life experience during Saturn antar/pratyanter fit the classical dictums and NOT the Systems Approach dictums. In any case, SA may work for some and not for others. I neither commend nor condem Systems Approach. I test/experiment classical dictums, but I am just not comfortable INVENTING brand new dictums that differ from the classical somuch that they even re-define functionality of planets for various Ascendants. I thank you for the time you've taken to analyze my chart. Mukund , "amarpuri2004" <satvac@h...> wrote: > Hello dear Mukund, > > Hare Krishna. Guest guest
My two bits - All my technical write ups show that each planet would have some good and some bad to do for it's natural and temporal significations and positions. A planet might not be purely bad or purely good - it is very rare to be so. Malefics offer a lot of benefic results. Rahu rules new things, foreign lands and culture [again new things] and creativity [the way new things are found]. Rahu in 5th house if re inforced by the 5th lord can offer tremendous creativity or even if alone with strength it might do so. Rahu in 10H can provide foreign residence and can give great success in profession and offer fame, or success from abroad. Rahu is 'New' and in 10H of profession or in 5H of creativity it can make on scientist. Mahatma Gandhi had Rahu and Moon in 10th in Cancer and he fullfilled his aim through Ahimsa [Moon] and it was a new way to freedom by Ahimsa and this new way was Rahu. This largest forum on the net was founded by me when I was in Rahu AD, Rahu in my 10th house. Rahu is 10th house give me a lot of appreciations from people about my astrology and site, forum etc. I did all the major works in Rahu AD and this is clear. The PD was of Merc who is my 10th lord itself. I have explained this in my website details. Rahu also can give a tremendous boost to communication. In my Rahu AD I used a 30 Kilo byte per second unlimited 24 Hrs net line which is very rare in my country and any user's dream. This is because Rahu is in my Gemini [natural 3H] and with strength, disposited by Merc and exchanges aspects with Merc by being 7th from it. In a previous write up I wrote that Ketu is inner self and realizations, it is like closing your doors and windows and meditating, it is also hidden things and the natural karaka for 8th house. Ketu thus can gain a tremendous gain which you did not work for, and also spirituality, realization, maths etc. But yes separation, loneliness is also there. Rahu also rules witches, ghosts and evil forces. It is the greatest enemy to Sun, Sun is like a King and Rahu is like the mob leader. In my chart Rahu casts 7th aspect and also rashi aspect to my 12th lord Sun [sleep] and in my Rahu PD under Rahu AD I regularly used to suffer from ghost dreams so frequently than ever, Rahu is ghost and witches. Last few days I was in to ghost dreams again after a long time and I was tense because my Me-Ju-Ju should not do this, but I suddenly I remembered that I just bought an ash colour Tshirt which I was wearing everday, it is Rahu's colour. So I stopped wearing it and found my sleep okay. There are debates about Rahu's colour but I am sure about my own conclusion. Rahu also rules smokes [sort of ash colour]. Some wisemen are of the opinion that Rahu-Ketu can not aspect nor can be aspected because some version of BPHS do not mention this To Mukund Ji - you are very right about your Rahu. A malefic in 6H esp. if strong can make you defeat your enemies. But to me it is not a good position. Because, a planet in 6th activates the 6th house, bringing you involved in clashes and fights frequently than an empty 6H and calm 6L. There can be two types of good 6th houses. One is you have no enemies, other type is you win over enemies but have frequent fights and clashes, ie interaction with enemies frequently in simple words. In latter one you must also suffer from enemies sometimes [defeated] since whatever planet is in your 6th house makes you win does not matter, but it might aspect or disposit a weak planet then in that weak planet's period you would be defeated. So there are many sides and facts to be considered. I am sure Mukund Ji you interact with your enemies too often, that is visible from your ex-wife's law suits and for the bold voice you put in the forums makes a lot of enemies to you. This is the bad side of Rahu in 6th. Of course there might be other reasons but this is an important reason. More planets in 6th definitely weak the 7th house does not matter they aspect 7th lord or not. It activates disagreement in your life and for disagreement marital bliss suffers the most. You can still be a father, a son, or a brother to some one even after disagreement, but for a disagreement you might not be a husband to a lady. That is why 6th house is disagreement and fights that is 12th [loss] to the 7th, stands for marriage and all partnerships. So fights harm marriage and partnerships than any other relationships. It also is a reason for your enemies take a mean way of conspirecy etc., Rahu is mean and in 6th of enemies. I have an intention to study your chart a bit some day, not too soon though. Thanks, Tanvir. What can not happen, can never happen. Which is mine, is forever mine. Tanvir Chowdhury lord_narayana http://www.jyotish-remedies.com - monmuk111 Tuesday, August 31, 2004 2:40 AM Re: Mukund horoscope--to Amar Puri Hello Amar: Yep, you confirmed my doubt that you were using Systems Approach (SA) to analyze my horoscope. Mukund
Guest guest
Ya Tanvir, I agree with you that it's nice to have an empty 6th house. And, it's nice to have an empty 8th and 12th houses as well. Yep! I got plenty of enemies everywhere and I defeat them all. Some of my enemies miraculously became victim of great violence. I fund a group of people in Bombay who rescue young girls from prostitution--these folks often physically carry away the minor girls from the brothels and hand them over to the police. A powerful local mafia controlling prostitution threatened to murder me for funding these group--shortly thereafter he was shot four times in his head and killed by a rival gang. I noted several incidents of my strong enemies experiencing physical trauma such as car accidents, etc. There are so many incidents like this--father of my 3rd wife wanted 50 lakh rupees for signing on the divorce document and he filed false criminal complaints against me and my parents. Soon thereafter, he was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and had to bear the physical trauma of the surgeon's knife to remove his prostate and was totally bed-ridden after the surgery. I inquired about this phenomena with Sanjay Rath and he gave me an amazing and a very believable explanation. He told me that in my chart Mar is aspecting Rahu with its 8th house aspect (astakshari). Mars is a bitter enemy of Rahu and whenever "Rahu" like strong enemies try to harm me, Mars being the planet of violence/force hits them violently with its astakshari aspect and this is the cause of my enemies somehow miraculously experiencing violent physical trauma. Guest guest
Hi Tanivir, Your analysis is good but let me give a different version for Mukund's enemies. I would look at it in two ways. Moon in 12 th is one cause and the other being the position of AL, GK and DK in one bhava (9th). The second cause denotes a permanent situation. In other words Mukund's spouse (irrespective of how many time he marries) will always be his opponent and he will have many rivals in society. The good thing is Rahu being in 6th will put a check to these rivals. This principle of Chara Karakatwa works very well in many charts. Guest guest
Thanks for your comments. But I really never approached charts in these Chara Karaka ways so I can not tell anything as of now. But it looks logical ! However, Ra being in 6H puts check on rivals but does give him many rivals :-( Tanvir. What can not happen, can never happen. Which is mine, is forever mine. Guest guest
Thanks Tanvir... I have been looking at several charts with Rahu in 6th and has not found the same problem as Mukund as. I know from the padas that one should look at A6 for one's enemies abilities. In other words how enemies materialize. Regarding defeat of enemies one should look at the position of the lord of the sixth from the sixth house. In Mukund's case it is in the 11 th...i,e, 6 th from the sixth house. It means his enemies will be defeated by the enemies enemy (like the mafia lord shot by his enemy). Mike , "Tanvir" <lord_narayana@l...> wrote: > Thanks for your comments.
