Hello Tanvir:

I HAVEN'T studied this dictum, but am quite sure that NOT EVERYONE

who is going through the mahadasa of 2nd lord or 7th lord dies or

have death-like experience. I just went through the antardasa of 7th

lord Venus and NO death-like experiences have befallen unto me.

However, I do have an opinion on "Karaka Bhava Naso." Sanjay Rath

says that this dictum doesn't apply to Jupiter and Sun and I 100%

agree with this dictum based on observing/following the lives of

people with such placements.

I'm currently observing one individual whose Sun is in the 9th house

(Sun is the Karaka of 9th house) going through mahadasa of Sun and

she seems to be doing fine--neither her father or fortune is

destroyed, but she has 5 more years to go so I'll keep watching.

Tanvir, I haven't studied MOST dictums. It'll take me a life time to

come up with personal conclusions on the various dictums. Until then,

I follow and listen to VARIOUS Jyotish masters--I never follow as

single master.

You probably missed out on Mr. Rohini Ranjan's thoughts on

the "Astroexpert" board, he had opined on various dictums and a lot

of learners had the opportunity to read those. I'm hoping Mr. Ranjan

procured a backup of all the posts when that site died.

Mukund Ji,

You are right I missed that board, I joined discussion forums since Late 2002

only.

Look forward to hear similar thoughts from Rohini Ji time to time this is all I

can say about it :-)

Regards

Tanvir.

Hello Tanvir:

I re-read your e-mail. I think you are talking about marana karaka

sthana, i.e. 3rd house for Jupiter, etc. -- I haven't studied this

dictum, don't know much about it.

Sorry, I wrote my answer about Marak Planets, i.e. death causing

planets--2nd lord and 7th lord.

Tanivir,

Sun is the karaka for the 9 th house and yes you are correct there is

an exceptionS for both Sun and Jupiter for the Karaka bhava nasa

dictum. In fact Sun will enhance the significance of the 9th house

even when it is debilibated. Your friend should have good fortune and

tend towards religion during this period.

Yes I was talking about that.

My two bits -

I have Ju in 3rd house as 7th lord, and Ju is the one fights all sort of

unbelievable problems of relationship given by Saturn, Sun and Ketu, and each of

Ju's periods are just wonderful about relationship and also doing good in

studies (Ju also 4th lord). Ju is in great friendly sign [Adhi Mitra griha] and

without any major afflictions.

My observations about Marak planets is the same that nothing to predict blindly,

but yes if afflicted then otherwise.

Best wishes,

Tanvir.
