Mental Problem : Please help

Respected Learned members,

 

I have my Friend Manoj passing thru very difficult phase of his life and I came

across this group to seek your valuable guidence.

 

I am providing his details as under:

 

Name Manoj

DOB 16th MAY 1978

Time 3.30 PM

Place Ahmedabad.

 

Manoj was a bright studen but could not get enough marks in the 12th (66-64%).

He had to go in for Private Engg that too at his time Maharashtra from where he

did his eduction, got a rush everywhere cos the southern states went on strike.

HE wanted to do COMP engg he but managed to do Electronics. Fine .....

 

After the engg he got admission in one of the best schools in business

Mangaement, but his markesheets were not ready...he had to do hs management from

an ok place. Fine.

 

After his management from in Masters in Information Management Systems...the

Infocomm industry went bust...he could only get a job as a marketing

executive..and...he took that. 2 yrs into that went the tragedy struck. His

father died...& he was very close. He lost his job. He lost his girlfriend. &

then he lost his ertificates( all degree certificates )....all in a matter of

one month.

 

All this has made him a confused individual. He has a wavering

disposition....something i have never seen in him before. He also has this

notion of just earning money whatever & however....He does not stick to one

thing....but jumps to several as a result nothing happens & then he again gets

frustrated.....all my attempts at positive thinking & being proactive are dealt

with frustration. As a result he is becoming frustrated.

 

now he is looking for a job in marketing (again) very depressed(again) & that

puts his family members in a condition too....as they get worried. it seems like

nothing is happening....he pulls himself up for a month & the next month is down

again & again for a month ok & the again down. happening for quite

sometime......... also his relation with my mom has deterioted.... he has not

called her in 6 months .....ya........now he does not talk nor wants to be

talked to.....gets irritated very easily .... it is getting to be a

down-hill.......

 

I want to know when this period will end, what can I / his family members

do..... is there a way out? Will wearing a navratna help in anyway.

 

PLEASE HELP.
