Chintan ji,

Your friend has Kanya Lagna, with Rahu in Lagna. He also has

Kala Sarpa Dosham, and Lagnadipati Budhan is in the dushtana 8th

house, with the lord of this house, Kuja, fallen in the 11th.

Though Kuja is exalted in Navamsa, the fact that Guru, Sukra,

and Sani are debilitated in Navamsa is very telling.

The native is running Chandra Dasa from May 2003 - Nov 2012.

Chandra, lord of the 11th, is in the 12th, conjunct Sani, and

subject to Papa Katrari Yoga. Sani afflicts the mind,

represented by Chandra, and since Kuja Bukti is running from

March 2004, time will be very difficult. The next Bukti is that

of Rahu, and Rahu, by being in the Langa and also by

participating in the Kala Sarpa Dosha, will aggravate matters.

Overall, a good status of the lords of the 1, 5, and 9 is

important for general prosperity. If these are good, then it is

possible for one to overcome difficulties. Otherwise, it is a

little difficult.

In your friend's case, Budha is in a not so great place, and

lords of 5 & 9 are debilitated in Navamsa. The difficulties of

the 9th lord--caught in a rasi sandhi, and fallen in

Navamsa--means a loss of fortune. Guru, who is also responsible

for fortune, suffers from Kendradipati Dosham, apart from poor

Navamsa placement.

Still, as they say, every cloud has a silver lining. Sani, all

said and done, is the lord of the 6th in the 12th, and gives

Vipareeta Raja Yoga. Since Sani is with Chandra, his effect will

be felt throughout the Chandra Dasa. The question now is, can

your friend try and break away from his difficulties, and then

work hard to achieve something? If he wills it, there is no

doubt that Sani's VRY will be supportive--though the extent is

difficult to fathom, because of his bad Navamsa placement.

Strict dicipline and a religious bent of mind can help mitigate

the current difficulties a great deal.

Sarvato Bhadra Chakra Analysis

1 = Janma Nakshtra [birth Star]

10 = Karma Nakshtra [Work]

16 = Sanghatic Nakshtra [unity]

18 = Uday Nakshtra [Rise]

19 = Aadhan Nakshtra [Future prospects]

23 = Vinasha Nakshtra [Destruction]

25 = Manas Nakshtra [Mind]

26 = Raj Nakshtra [Achievement]

27 = Abhishek Nakshtra [Enjoyment]

Malefics destroy the above, while benefics protect it. For

example, Rahu aspecting Manas Nakshatra [25] will lead to

worries; Guru's aspect will promote calmness.

Malefics (14)

--------------

* Surya: Name, 19, 26, 27

* Kuja: Name, Star, Lagna, 18, 25

* Sani: Name

* Rahu: Name, Star, 18

* Ketu: Lagna

Benefics (8)

--------------

* Guru: Day, Name

* Sukra: Name

* Budha: Name, 19, 26, 27

* Chandra: NONE

The malefic influences are very high, especially on the Name. I

have heard it said in SBC that if four malefics afflict any

point, it could even lead to death, though I cannot back this up

with any personal experience. However, the fact that the Name is

protected by Guru, Sukra and Vakra Budhan ensures solid

protection. Still, today, the malefic influences are high, and

your friend will do best to work hard and be patient. Tell him

to pray sincerely to God. The grahas move on, and with time and

prayer, his load can be diminished.

Respected Balaji :

Thanks a lot for the insightful analysis. I would certainly talk to Manoj and

make sure he won't lose his courage and will-power. Lose frame of mind and

willingness to fight out the circumstances hurt a human being more than the

malefics!!!!

Obliged by your analysis and I hope to learn more from you.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Chintan.
