Guest guest
Karthik ji, Your friend has Kumba Lagna, with Chandra and Rahu in Lagna, with lord Sani fallen in the 3rd. For women, Surya represents the left eye, and Chandra the right. The 12th house also indicates the left eye, while the 2nd indicates the right. Various adverse positions of grahas can also indicate eye trouble. According to Brigu Sutram, Surya in the 12th is one such thing. Kuja in the 2nd, afflicted, could also lead to the same problem. In your friend's chart, both the lagna and the 2nd house are subject to Papa Katari Yoga, with the second heavily afflicted by being occupied by Kuja, and hemmed in between Rahu and Sani. Additionally, the lord of the 2nd, Guru, is debilitated in Navamsa. You have not mentioned the eye which is defective, but this can be determined easily by considering Surya, Chandra, the 12th and the 2nd, and the dasa: * Surya: In 12th * Chandra: In 1st, debilitated in Navamsa, eclipsed by Rahu, and combust with Surya * 2nd house: Papa Katari Yoga, Kuja, and Lord fallen in Navamsa * 12th house: Aspected by own lord, who is debilitated * Dasa: Guru dasa - Rahu Bukti from April 2002 - Present Overall, I think that, since Chandra, karaka for the right eye in females, and the 2nd are BOTH more afflicted than Surya and the 12th, I think that the affliction is with the right eye. However, I'm sure that the left eye is also not in great shape because the karakas are also afflicted. As per the Dasa, Guru is the lord of the 2nd, and Rahu is eclipsing Chandra. This also indicates the 2nd house and the right eye of females. CAUTION: Sani Dasa runs from Sep 2004 - Feb 2021. Sani is the lagnadipati, and so the dasa need not be bad, but since Sani is neecha, it could indicate a lot of difficulties. Remedies: Prayer with full faith in God is the ONLY remedy I have ever suggested. Pooja to Dhanvantari is recommended by some for general health, and you could do it in some place like Srirangam, if possible. Learned members of this group can suggest remedies for Sani, but let me say one thing - Sani represents humility, justice, and patience. Learning Dharma is one of the best ways to limit Sani's affliction. Charity also helps - being kind to others will make Sani kinder towards you. I also analyzed with Sarvato Bhadra Chakra and found the following: Sarvato Bhadra Chakra 1 = Janma Nakshtra [birth Star] 10 = Karma Nakshtra [Work] 16 = Sanghatic Nakshtra [unity] 18 = Uday Nakshtra [Rise] 19 = Aadhan Nakshtra [Future prospects] 23 = Vinasha Nakshtra [Destruction] 25 = Manas Nakshtra [Mind] 26 = Raj Nakshtra [Achievement] 27 = Abhishek Nakshtra [Enjoyment] Malefics destroy the above, while benefics protect it. For example, Rahu aspecting Manas Nakshatra [25] will lead to worries; Guru's aspect will promote calmness. Malefics -------------- * Surya: 27 * Kuja: 16 * Rahu: 16, 23 * Ketu: 23 Benefics -------------- * Guru: Tithi, 26 * Budha: 27 Out of 8 Vedais, only three are by benefics. However, Budhan is retrograde, and becomes more powerful, while Guru's glance on two elements indicate reasonable progress. As I said earlier, please keep full faith in God and continue the treatment with His blessings. ===== Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection =====
