Free Astrological Software: Maitreyas Dream

Maitreyas Dream is a new free astrological software on Sourceforge.

 

 

It covers a lot of the standard topics of vedic astrology:

seven dasas, 18 vargas, several calculations of Jaimini system,

ashtakavarga, hora, 3 different chart types, partner horoscope, etc.

 

 

Runs on Win32, Linux and UNIX.

 

It's located at http://maitreya.sourceforge.net.

Hi Piet,

 

It is a great software. A very commendable effort. I personally like

all the Dasha calculation of Vimsottari, Astottari, Yogini, Shula,

Narayana of different D charts etc. No free software I know offers

this. I always wanted to get in to another Dasha like Yogini, but the

fact that I would have to calculate it manually discouraged me.

Thanks for such an effort. This deserves praise.

 

In the website help is sought from whoever has astrological

knowledge, no need of programming skill is mentioned. What sort of

help are you seeking?
