HEllo everbody,

 

My point of view/query is very starnge. Recently, I

did hear from my wife that her friend went to a

Jyotishiji who has the card of every single individual

in this world.

 

What he does, he takes the thumb impression of a

person and try to locate his/her card based on such

thumb impression. and then he starts reading the the

past of that person..if everything goes right, then he

tells the name of that person.

 

IF the name of that person comes out be wrong...then

he simply says this is not your card...mind it pls, he

refuses only on the basis of name, irrespective of the

fact that all the past that he just told was

absolutely right. this is what happened with my wife's

friend. And till then he does not charge anything. He

also says in that case new cards are expected to come

in the near future, you may come afterwards.

 

However, if ur name also come right..then he starts

telling about ur future. u can ask anything what u

want.

 

Well, my questions are now very obvious:

 

1. how far this is true;

2. is he using any tantra vidya or any other vidya;

3. is this beyond the astrology, if this is tantra?

 

I hope all my learned friend will be able to open this

mystery.

Dear Vineet,

 

It is known as Nadi Astrology. I think there is no tantra but another

form of astrology. Just for your info, word Nadi in Tamil mean

(destined) to come to own accord.

Dear Vineet and Sindhu and other list members,

 

When you visit any such astrolger (card or leaf),

observe very carefully, they will ask you a good

number of questions and eventually take out most of

the information from you. Once they get to your birth

date, they will make predictions using your moon sign.

 

Try going to the same astrologer after a big gap, say

2-3 years and see the difference in predictions.

 

I have been to one such astrologer, and I posted my

earlier in this group, go through archives, if you are

unable to find it, will write it again.

PS: There might be some truth in this, but to me it

seems that keeping the cards of entire population

(just for eg. INDIA, more than 100 crores) is a huge

task and they claim there are cards even for those,

who have not taken birth till yet.

Dear Friends,

 

What you are referring to is a branch of astrology called Nadi - Jyotish. There

are many such "Nadis" named after the sage who told it to his followers like

Agasthi Nadi , Shuka Nadi , Shiva Nadi , Kak Bhrushundi , Parashar , Bhrugu,

Saptarshi , Vasistha etc.

 

Anybody wanting more information on this may search for Nadi Jyotish in google

and there is lot of information available.

 

I am fascinated by Nadi - Jyotish and no science and logic would be able to tell

how one's name , father's name , Mother's name , Spouse's name and Date of Birth

could be found on the leaf or strip which is supposed to have been written few

thousand years back.

 

Although some times there is a cheating, most of the Nadi Jyotish center are run

by religious people and they do the job professionally. Especially in South

there are many such Nadi Jyotish centers.

 

It is amazing that names of even foreigners are found on these leaves ( I have

visited Nadi centers with German and Japanese friends and their names could be

found )

 

Lastly I think this mystery may not get solved ever but one can make very

judicious use of this fascinating technique in astrology for getting guidance

for planning and getting directions in life.

Dear Gentlepeople:

 

Some of your thinking regardig Nadi Jyotish is incorrect. There

aren't 6 billion leaves/cards in physical existence.

 

If the time is right and God is willing, when you go for a Nadi

reading, the text related to your past, present, future and even

prior births miraculously appears on the leaf the Nadi guy is

reading.

 

Not everyone is so lucky to get a true Nadi reading--it's all God's

will. Also, the REAL Nadi guys directly tell you if your information

doesn't appear on the leaf. The crooks make up stories and get your

money.

 

You need to know someone living in Southern India who knows a genuine

Nadi guy before attempting to visit. Also, you need to bring along a

translator who knows the various Tamil dialects as these readers

don't know English or Hindi or even proper Tamil/Telugu.

 

Also, be careful of the crooks--they demand some ridiculously crazy

and expensive remedies, i.e. donate 3 tola (one ounce) of gold to the

Nadi reader, donate this, donate that.

 

I personally have never been lucky to have a Nadi reading done, but

that's next thing on my India agenda.

 

Does anyone in this group know a Nadi reader in India? If so, please

share information.
