Guest guest Posted August 10, 2004 Report Share Posted August 10, 2004 Hi... to all.. this is my first mail to the group.. i would waste no time complimenting the group.. as we all know its wonderful.. i need help regarding developing a software program to calculate ascendent and planetary positions for the birth time.. we know all the softwares avaliable in the mkt like Kundli lite. and horo etc.. but does anyone know how do these work exactly.. i have tried some algos i found on the net which talk abt the 10th cusp and referred the book "Surya Siddhanta" as well which has some algos with calculation of sines.. for calculating the mean/true position of plantes ...but still not found the exact solution for my problem.. if anyone of u know a solution do let me know.. otherwise i may have to it the hard way.. and i m not sure whether that will lead to the right solution.. Now you need to figure a way out to use these functions of this DLL file. I will attach the file and send to your personal mail id. Hope this will help you a bit.
