Manthra Japa & yoga for attaining Earthly Needs and Heavenly Peace.

Chanting Mantras for our earthly needs is actually making demands in

prayer. In real prayer we trust, love and pray. No words are needed,

there is no Expectation, there is no Ego, there is not Thought Flow.

How do we get the Grace of God? Fix your Eyes and Mind on the idol or

the picture of your desired deity and chant the mantra with love and

trust. Around the idol there is already deposited a Divine Current.

While we pray our human energy is sent through the eyes to the idol.

Here, our human energy merges with the Divine Energy around the idol

and is transformed into a Divine Current.

This Divine Current than comes back to our body and is deposited

inside us. This Super Electro Magnetic Divine Current brings forth

the means to satisfy our needs. Rub an iron rod with a magnet, the

iron rod also becomes a magnet. Similarly, the human energy mixes

with the Divine Current and is transformed into Divine Energy. Thus

we get the Grace of God. God is the Sum total of all that is the

universe. Man is a small fraction of That and when the fraction

demands the total supplies. This is the Law of Nature. When we chant

sincerely with faith and trust it is recorded in our subconscious

mind. The subconscious mind is capable of drawing our needs and wants

from the super conscious mind. Only that much of pure energy that is

sent through prayer can come back transmitted to serve you. Thus, God

helps those who help themselves.

CHANTING

Chanting mantras is one of the ways to stop the thought flow. We also

imprint our needs in the subconscious mind when we chant. When we

chant, the energy becomes concentrated and is focused in a particular

mantra. This focused energy is what becomes the bright deity and

brings faith our needs. Mantras may be chanted with Yanthras. This

way of chanting the mantra with the Yanthra produces vibrations,

which are very powerful and the desired results are attained very

fast.

The Yanthra and Mantra can be used to recover from illnesses and

other Karmic Evils. All temples store Divine current through

Yanthras. Mantras are the purest form of energy which vibrates in us

as an unseen illuminated light. The amount of pure love, trust and

sincerity put into the chanting of a mantra produces the equivalent

results. It is important to select the correct mantra according to

your need and chant with sincere love and devotion.

MANTRA WITH YOGA IS POWERFUL

Chant the Mantra with love, faith, devotion and trust. Fix your eyes

and mind on the idol of your choice or the picture of the idol.

Now chant silently within the mind, fixing the eyes and mind as above

for two minutes.

Now close the eyes and chant for one minute while visualizing the

idol at the point in between the eyebrows.

Next, spread out the shining form of the idol throughout your body

and imagine that you are the idol itself in a bright and shinning

form.

You are now the bright God itself. At this stage there is no

chanting, no concentration. Relax in this state for three minutes.

This is called Maha Yoga. The effect is miraculous.

THE EFFECT OF CHANTING

Sound produces vibrations which produces electricity says science.

Chanting produces light and certain forms and figures of deities are

produced according to the Mantra that is chanted. We may not be aware

but these forms are imprinted on our subconscious Mind. As we

continue to chant the form or figure becomes brighter and brighter

inside and begins to vibrate and starts to fulfill our needs or the

purpose of our chanting the particular Mantra.

JAPA YOGA:

Chanting within ourselves silently with the breath is more effective.

There is no wastage of human energy. The human energy without

spreading outside could be transformed into Divine energy and could

be deposited inside us. In this way the Though Flow subsides and

eventually stops. As our thoughts become fixed on our breath, a

deeper impression is created and the breath relaxes the other systems

in our body.

YOGA:

The third step is to visualize the bright idol in the space between

the eyebrows.

OBSERVE:

With love while being in a calm relaxed state for three minutes. The

Eye-Brow observation is conditioned concentration. The flow of

thought on several objects at the same time is stopped and is focused

on one object only i.e. the deity or idol. This yoga will help

increase the power of concentration, memory power, will power and

patience.

MAHAYOGA :

Spread the light from the deity or Guru, whom you have been

visualizing between your eyebrows, all over your body. As you become

the illuminated deity yourself your False _I_, Ego and body

consciousness is pushed out and helps you become conscious of the

formless soul.

We now attain the stage of what is called Satguna Braman or Godliness

with form. We also attain a balanced mind, tolerance towards others,

cheerfulness, health, wealth, beauty and success in life. Be in Maha

Yoga for 5-20 minutes daily. Take 3 minutes to spread out the light

in the body. Be in the form of the deity for one minute, then

dissolve and forget the form. To attain success in Maha Yoga it may

take between 2-5 years.

YOGA - PART ONE

We cannot exist without Existence, God is Existence. Life is God. God

is within us doing everything for us but we say we are doing

everything. Digestion, Heart-Beat, Blood Circulation, etc. All these

are done by God inside us but because of our Karma and Maya, we say

we do all these.

YOGA - PART TWO

Yoga means stopping the noisy thought flow. When the thought stands

still and the thought waves are stilled we observe, we realize that

we are not the Mind. So, I am not the Mind and I am also not the Body

but I am everlasting Soul.

Thus, Yoga keeps us in Clarity and this awareness is present in every

activity. We are all born _ Yogis- innocent children. As we grow up,

the community corrupts us. We are polluted with ego and we grow up

with ego and its by products such as greed, grief, anger, fear,

jealousy, lust and anxieties. Other miseries and violence are also

thrown in. that is why we have to have a second childhood through

Yoga. Thyana is not tiresome concentration or conditional commands

but total relaxation of the body and mind with effortless ease. From

the body and mind, we reach the intellect and then on to the Blissful

Beyond.Do not hurry or strain or thrust. Do not struggle with your

thoughts and become frustrated. Be relaxed and have a positive

outlook.Just be normal. Think of the present, here and now only,

learn to be totally contented. Learn to hold your thoughts inside

you. Be patient and have faith nd let it happen.

YOGA - PART THREE

YOGA IS AN ADVENTURE

Being in the Present without worrying about the Past or Fearing the

future. Yoga is something natural and should come without stress or

strain. Be cheerful and calm always.Select and keep a separate place

for your meditation. Do not have bright lights. Use dim lighting

during meditation. Start with 20 minute sessions and go up to one

hour. Learn to be in this relaxed state throughout the day. Thus,

every activity becomes Thyana.

YOGA - PART FOUR

FACTS ABOUT YOGA, THYANA AND REALISATION

Yoga is stopping the thought flow in a particular center, stopping

the thought flow helps to attain some earthly benefits.

During Yoga the energy reaches the center in the brain and produces

illumination. This illumination charges every cell and life particle

in the body and thus the soul becomes pure space, pure awareness and

pure being.

Yoga also helps one to attain certain powers (Sithis), health and

wealth. But this does not lead to the liberation of the soul. It is

only a preparatory part of Thyana.

Thyana is a thoughtless stage. It is spontaneously Natural. During

Thyana we become totally relaxed in the beauty of Total Silence deep

within our soul.

In total silence at peace with yourself and the world all your faults

and fallacies become clearly visible. This helps to correct our

mistakes and emerge a better human being than before.

Meditation : Self Discovery and illumination. There is a recognition

that we and the soul are the inseparable same. This realisation

brings immense freedom and blissfulness. We become free from desires

and become established in self discipline and we overcome fears and

worries. We become contended and extra ordinarily ordinary. This is a

perfect discovery.

Realization dawns upon the individual that One is All and All is One.

Only Yoga Thyana and introspection will give Clarity of mind, Purify,

Liberty, Divinity, Peace and Joy.

YOGA - PART FIVE

FACTS ABOUT MANTHRAS

Manthra Japa can only help in attaining Earthly Needs. It does not

lead towards Peace, clarity of Mind and Enlightenment.

Unless your chant Manthras sincerely and single-mindedly, they are

not very effective and do not give the desired results.

During Manthra Jpa do not ask your wants leave it to Him and

surrenderin totality. He will Endow you with Everything.

Purity of mind, word and deed are important prerequsites in Manthra

Japa.

How long you chant manthras is not important, how sincerely and

single-mindedly is the point. The amount of pure energy transmitted

is what will produse the effect.

Mere talk will not help in Manthra Japa. Saying that you believe in

God, Guru will not help. Only Sadhna will help.

If your karma is very strong, chanting of general Manthras will not

help. Find out what Doshas are affecting you. Select and chant

suitable Manthras.

Our miseries are the result of our previous karma. It is no good to

say _ I am good, Divine and I chant Manthras, why should I suffer

YOGA - PART SIX

THYANA IN SILENCE _ MOUNA THAVAM

This is one of the easiest and best thyana advised by our Saints. No

initiation is needed.

Sit comfortably on a spread, facing east or north.

Say _Thayikku Vanakam, Thantaikku Vanakam, Gurunatharukku Vanakam.

Andavanin Arut Kathirgal Yenanthu Udalilum Uyirilum Paravi Nirainthu,

Ullum Puramum Oli Kaapaga Irukkatum.

PRANAYAMA

Take a slow long, deep breath and at the same time imagine and

visualize a tube light going up from the bottom of the spinal cord to

the top of the head. Breathe out slowly and imagine the light going

back to the bottom of the spine. Repeat this 5 times.

Now, while breathing in, spread out the tube of light sidewards and

fill your whole being with this light. While breathing out, shrink

the light back to the tube. Repeat this 5 times.

Next, imagine rays of light pouring on you from the sky like

waterfall. Imagine this light entering your body filling up your

head, face, chest, belly, hands and legs. The whole body is totally

illuminated.

THYANA

Keep your eyes half closed and observe your breath while breathing in

and out slowly. Try to stop blinking your eyes. Slowly learn to hold

your gaze. This may be difficult in the beginning but with practice

it will come easily. The wobbling of the eye balls and blinking of

the eyelids will stop. The length of the breath will be reduced.

YOGA - PART SEVEN

DURING THYANA

The raised eyelid is dropped.

The jaw is released and the lips are parted.

The _|_ consciousness is pushed out.

Even the breath is forgotten. The rise and fall of the belly is also

forgotten.

Your mind should be blank with no thought flow.

Now even the body consciousness is not present. The whole body is

asleep.

At this stage there prevails a beautiful emptiness, The more you keep

yourself empty like a vacuum, the more and more the Vital Magnetic

Energy will fill this vacuum. This is similar to deep sleep when

Nature deposits a lot of energy in us.

YOGA - PART EIGHT

MEDITATION AND THE EFFECT OF MOUNA THAVAM

This is the easiest and best tapas with least strain. You are totally

relaxed with effortless ease.

To do this Thavam there is no need for initiation because the Supreme

Lord Himself is the Generator, Operator and Determiner of this

ancient Yoga.

As the blinking of the eyes becomes less and less your conscious

thought process will also become less. As the wobbling of the eye

balls stop, the nerve center and the area of the brain which controls

memory becomes more controlled. Therefore, without stress and strain

we are able to stop the thought flow and this also produces a

conscious deep sleep.

When most people close their eyes and try to become silent, numerous

thoughts intrude and images appear and are very distracting. However,

when the eyes are half closed and defocused, there is no such

disturbance by either thought or images.

Mouna Thavam gives us control over our daily lives.

Mouna Thavam helps us towards attaining Sahaja Samadhi. In this

Thavam, we do not allow unnecessarily on anything nor pass judgement

on others. There is no wastage of energy. The energy is directed and

utilised towards peak performance of each organ in the body.

This results in enormous amounts of Divine Energy being deposited

inside us. Health, wealth, beauty, grace, clarity of thought and will

power are the by products of this Thavam. The practitioner attains

all the mystic powers.

This Thavam can be taught to teenagers, school children to improve

their memory power.

PRANAVA THAVAM AND NAVAGRAHA THAVAM

Ways to minimize the effects on the Navagraha Thosams. Our body is a

temple. God is within us doing everything necessary for our well

being. There is also Karma or imprints of previous deeds. Our bad

Karma manifests itself in the form of pain and miseries. In order to

clean or erase these bad Karmas we have to practice certain tapas.

To start the practice of Pranava Thavam and Navagraha Thavam sit in a

comfortable position and practice Pranayama for about five minutes.

Fill your body with light as usual in all Yogas that we practice.

Fill your body with light from top to bottom and sideways.

Concentrate on the center between the eye brow, keep your thought at

this centre for two minutes.

Feel your subtle body going out of you from the top of your head to

several thousand miles above you to the CHANDRA MANDALAM. Spread out

your subtle body and merge your subtle body in the Chandra Mandalam.

Meditate there for two minutes.

>From the Chandra Mandalam go up to the SOORIYA MANDALAM, a further

several thousand miles upwards. Merge yourself there and meditate for

a further two minutes.

Next proceed to the SAKTHI MANDALAM which is a further several

thousand miles above the Sooriya Mandalam. This is also known as the

Nakshatra Sakti Kallam. Merge yourself there and meditate for 2

minutes.

>From the Nakshatra Sakhti Kallam proceed several thousands of miles

higher on to the SIVA KALLAM. Spread yourself out there, Merge and

meditate for 5 _ 10 minutes.

>From the Siva Kallam go on to SURIA MANDALAM. Spread out and merge

yourself with Sooriyan and meditate. Feel that the sun_s rays are

most favourable to you always.

Then come down to Chandran. Spread yourself out there, Merge and

Meditate. Feel that Moon_s rays are most favourable to you always.

>From the moon go on to Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu

and Kethu. Merge and meditate on each Graha for 2 minutes. The go to

Sakhti Kallam, Siva Kallam.

Then come down in the same order as you went up to the top of your

head. Spread throughout your body the energy gathered through the

Nava Graha Thavam. Say the usual salutations and emerge from the

meditation.
