Guest guest
Rohini,Inder, Shirpal and others, I think hard to say that there is one dominant planets in a chart. What I have noticed in general is planets placed in the ascendant , the ascendant lord and aspects to the ascendant will determine the influence on character and the `self' throughout the course of life which of course has a great effect on the way the individual approaches all spheres of life - career, relationships, dharma, disputes etc. This also may explain why the Moon is of such importance in Vedic astrology and the condition of the Moon would also in the same way be equally important. Planets then placed in the relevant houses for each area of life become secondary `energies' which are manipulated in accordance with the character/nature determined by the 1st house lord/Planets in aspects to. For example an individual with lets say Saturn in the 1st house in Cancer and an afflicted Moon is likely to have life full of obstacles, pessimism and labour despite other positive combinations in the chart - the attitude and character is reflected in the general approach to life. The conjunction issue is still causing me confusion. The gist of the posts on this board seem to imply that it is during the dasha of a planet involved in a conjunction that we see the fruits and dominance of its significations. For example during a Moon dasha a Mars-Moon-Saturn conjunction will activate significations attributed to the Moon in the chart. In the same way a Saturn dasha will generally be difficult due to its poor placement. Doesn't a dasha activate the WHOLE combination rather then segments representing the planetary energies separately? Isn't a conjunction a strong mixture- blend of planetary energies activated each time a dasha-sub dasha period involving any of the three planets takes place? regards Maniv , "Inder" <indervohra2001> wrote: > Dear Rohiniji, > 1) Which shaloka( and interpretation) of Parashara you are referring > if you please could tell I would be happy to give my opinion. > 2)If dasa lord is conneceted with some aspect/event of life then > only that event can happen. > Suppose dasa lord is not connected with 4th and 9th house in a > chart in any way, the native is not to get any education. > > Same bhukti lord will fail to give marriage in one dasa and can > give marriage in another dasa.
