Guest guest
Aashish ji, The second Sade Sati is usually not as severe as the first and the third--in any case, everything depends on natal dignities. In your case, Sani is the lord of your star, Pushya. From Lagna, he is the lord of the 3rd and the 4th in the 5th. from Chandra, he is the lord of the 7 & 8 in 9. In both cases, he owns a kendra, and this reduces his sting a little. The Dasa also plays a major role, and you are running Sukra Dasa from 2003 - 22. Sukra is the lord of 7 & 12 in the 4th, where he gets dik bala. Note that this is not too good--benefics lose benefic potential by owning kendras, and Sukra is also the lord of a dushtana. From Chandra, Sukra is lord of 4 & 11 in 8, which is again not too good. In effect, the dasa could aggrevate the situation. Right now, the bukti is also Sukra's until 2007, and this means that he has full control. Using Sarvato Bhadra Chakra, it is possible to look from the star's point of view. Sani afflicts 27 quarters of stars, roughly ranging from the 25th to the 5th. Afflictions are also possible to janma tithi (Badra - Saptami), janma wara (Wednesday), Name ("Aa" for "Aashish"), and lagna (Vrichika) In your case, since you have Pushya Nakshatra, this is what one gets when Sani is in various stars: Mrigasirsa (25) - 7, 14, 20 (that is, Sani in 25th star afflicts stars 7[Chirtra], 14[u.Ashada] and 20[Revati]) Ardra (26) - 6, 13, 19 Punarvasu (27) - 5, 12, 18 [Tithi, Day, Lagna] Pushya (1) - 4, 11, 17 Alshesa (2) - 3, 10, 16 [Name] Makha (3) - 2, 15, 22 [Name, Tithi, Day] Purvapalguni (4) - 1, 21 Uttarapalguni (5) - 14, 19, 27 [Lagna] Four stars are always afflicted, including the star in which Sani is present (The only exception here is Purvapalguni, because it leads to Abijit, which is not counted). When other factors like tithi, lagna, etc, are afflicted, the pain is even more severe. However, the effects can vary based on the transits of benefics, dasa, etc. In your case, Sani in Punarvasu, Alsesha, Makha, and Uttara Palguni will be most painful, though the latter may not be too manifest because only the first pada is a part of Simha Rasi. Right now, with Sani in Punarvasu, you will be going through a very tough time. Insofar as remedies are concerned, the best is to pray to God and indulge in acts of charity. DON'T waste money on stuff like gemstones--in my humble opinion, Ra 1,000 donated to the downtrodden is better than spending Rs 10,000 on a costly stone! Sani rules the old and the poor, so you could donate to old age homes, feed the poor, etc. ===== Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection =====
