Are Rashi and Lagna one and the same or different ?

Dear Sirs,

 

I would like to know the difference between a Rashi and a Lagna or

are they both the same ?

For example, I know of a girl who has Swati Nakshatra, Tula Rashi

and Dhanus Lagna.

What does this mean ?
