Guest guest
Hello Everyone, To know exactly what is 'Retrograde' motion of planets and why the planet is said to be moving backwards (it seems to move backwards) The planet moves backward relative to your point of observation as you're moving faster compared to that planet. You may check out the link below. http://faculty.fullerton.edu/cmcconnell/Planets.html#4 I also kept wondering how is a planet moving backward and then starts moving forward. I too am very novice. The graphics on the above webpage cleared my doubts. I believe this will help the other members as well. Thank you.
