Guest guest
Why getting worried? If I were you I would just focus more on mantra shadhana as they work positive for me always! :-) Take care, Tanvir. , "ak_131" <ak_131> wrote: > Dear Sir, > I m not an astrologer and i m a learner. i want to know about that > can mantra harm also. i dont think that mantra will harm anyway. i was > suggested hanuman chalisa (shani AD) ,narayan mantra(mercury MD) and > ganesh ji mantra (for luck,8th house jupitor ) by different > astrologers. Guest guest
Good advice, dear Tanvir. Amit, I agree with you, pooja of ANY diety will never cause harm, and there is no question of cancellation either. There are different classes of mantras, and I don't have the knowledge to go deeply into any of them, but at a high level, there are mantras that benefit everyone (siddha mantras), and then there are mantras that are geared towards solving specific problems. The former are always appropriate, and so are any slokas, stotras etc. Some of the mantras that belong to the latter group work by transferring the energy of one house to another within the chart, to help the problems associated with this latter house. When the problem has been adequately resolved, there is no need to continue this transfer. Again, no harm. The other aspect here, is that the mantras have very specific qualities based on the pronunciation, the manner of recitation etc etc. I doubt if most people, myself included, do this properly. That is why there is the need for devotion - uttered with faith and devotion, the divine Lord himself completes the mantras for us, since He is looking at what is in our heart rather than our words. When someone says a mantra may harm, they may be thinking of certain tantrik mantras that are chanted to cause harm to others, i.e. black magic. Indirectly these caues harm to the native too, since causing harm to others will only increase their own bad Karma, and eventually they will suffer for it. The less we discuss these, the better :-) All the above, is my humble opinion, and others may hold differing opinions. Sincerely, Venkatarama Sreelatha , "Tanvir Chowdhury" <lord_narayana@l...> wrote: > Why getting worried?
