Guest guest
Good discussion Venkata Ji. I am aware of this fact, and some said that Hanumana also is a form of Shiva !!! But well, my experiences with Shiva Mantras never get even closer to Mars, nor any classics mention this as per my knowledge. Mantras to Lord Skanda and Hanumana totally relates to mars in my experiences, stated in BPHS etc. What is your experience by the way? Regards Tanvir > As for Siva and Mars, Tanvir, I can see a possible explanation. > Hanuman is a diety of Mars, as is Narasimha and Subrahmanya, and > Tuesday, the day of Mars is the most auspicious day to worship Him. > Hanuman is also worshipped as an Amsa of Shiva. The vaanaras in > Ramayan were born with the Amsa of the devatas, all to assist Vishnu > in his birth as Rama. Hanuman is sometimes worshipped as Pancha > Mukha Hanuman, i.e. Hanuman with the 5 faces, and one of these is > Shiva, one Narasimha etc. Shiva literally means auspicious, and that > is the meaning of the word Mangal (Mars) too. > > Venkatarama >
