Guest guest
Hi Everyone, What I want to know is how do you get yourself out of this cycle of birth and death and runanubhandham, I mean, if we take/accept/recieve anything from a personfamily etc, we get indebted to them, in telugu its said variki "runapadi unnamu" and that is the reason we take birth again to get that evened out, is that right??? What I want to know is how can I free myself of this runam to anybody and everybody, I know about of "runamochaka mangala stotram" and "runahartha lambodara stotram" and also "runavimochana nrusimha stotram". Do they help??? I don't want to be indebted to my spouse even????? I mean what's the point, we will be the same boat again.Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gayatri. Guest guest
Hi Gayatri, Yes, indeed, that is the cause of the endless cycle of births and deaths. I am aware of two ways of getting out of this - actually, with my ignorance, they seem like two, but they are both the same in reality. To be more specific: One way is Gyana praapti, obtaining wisdom about the oneness of everything. You are everything and everything is you ... If you are indebted to yourself, then where is the debt! This is the path of Advaita, vastly simplified. It's not merely the intellectual appreciation of the oneness, but the actual experience of the oneness. The other path is Dvaita, understanding the presence of the Divine in everyone and everything. Every thought, word and deed is dedicated to that Divine spirit, so all your debts are only to that Divinity. Sarvam Sree Krishnaarpanamastu, in Sanskrit, or substitute whatever form of the divine you want. Any stotram chanted with devotion, will help. Ultimately, both of these paths are the same, and it is our samskaras (our inherent abilities and attitudes) that make one or the other easier to follow. I follow both. This is highly condensed version, of course, there are many many options within each of these paths and outside of these paths. There are innumerable texts that deal with this ... maybe start out with an abridged version of the Bhagavad Geeta if you are interested in finding out more. Or any of the Upanishads .. learned members of this group can recommend more options. Guest guest
Hi Gayatri and shastri, excellant posting indeed...enjoyed great... Gayatri...the stotras u mentioned are getting relief from debts of the material world...say if you have some debts...u can get relief by recitation of the same...as for as the runanubandham....the chain cannot be broken till you exhaust all your karmas...there was some excellant posting on karma some time back.... even i do remember in our south side....people will not take anything made of til...from others...as there is a belief...that you will be their slave in your next birth...who knows how these beliefs came in to existence... regarding this anubandham break...read material of kanchi mutt...specially arulvakku by kanchi kamakoti sankaracharya sri chandrasekarendra saraswathi swamigal...he is a great scholar and great divine sage....hope his material will solve your doubts... thanks sriganeshh , "venkatarama_sastry" <venkatarama_sastry> wrote: > Hi Gayatri, > > Yes, indeed, that is the cause of the endless cycle of births and > deaths.
