For Eg = Pukhraj - Yellow Sapphire the rates start from Rs: 4800 - Rs: 5000 per carat of medium quality - that means if we buy 2.25 carat - the stones cost us around Rs: 10,000. Emerald - Panna rates start from in market for = Rs: 4400 - Rs: 4600 per carat of Medium Quality. if anyone interested to buy this stones at HALF THE RATES of that availble in market with guarentee of purity and quality for stone - please feel free to contact me anytime. my email = matchwelpharma Mr. Hemal Doshi.. I purchased medium quality panna (emerald) weighing 7.5 rattis in Delhi for just 1800 rupees and it is very good in lusture. Also the next range was available (transparent, columbian) for just Rs. 600 per ratti. Just a couple of days back, I got yellow sapphire for one of my close friend and it is above average quality for 2500 per ratti. Baazee.com is also a good place to buy gems or else get it from delhi. It is a new piece of information for me that gems in Bombay are so costly. Actually I bought all these from my native Kerala but a gemologist in mumbai whom I know says that all that I got are totally fake. Can you also check them for me. I suppose you too are a gemologist. please reply, iam also from mumbai (vashi) please do let me know the cost of the three. I have been purchasing gems for more than 4 years for different people (friends, relatives and others). I have seen that some fake gems are made so, that it is not possible to identify them easily. Cheking from Govt. Laboratory is the best, cheapest and most reliable way to authenticate them. As this lab has been setup to check the gems that are being exported out of India, so here you get accurate results.
