Guest guest
Dear Balaji, Thanks for your prompt reply. I found this discussion group to be the best available. Thanks for pointing out the discrepancies in the house placement that I mentioned. I actually tried few software and I am getting contradictory ascendent/lagna chart. When I used Jagannatha Hora lite, astro.Indiatimes.com service, and the free service available at aryabhatt.com the result is: Jupiter in 1st house, Mercury and Sun in 2nd house, Venus and Ketu in 4th house, Moon in 9th house, Rahu in 10th house and Mars and Saturn in 12th house But, when I used Gorovani Jyotish software and also Junior Jyotish, the result is: Jupiter in 1st house, Mercury and Sun in 2nd house, Ketu in 3rd, Venus in 4th house, Moon and Rahu in 9th house, and Mars and Saturn in 12th house. This is all too confusing for me. Do you know why there are different results and which one is correct among these two? Guest guest
Gaurav, I used two old DOS favorites, Haydn's Jyotish and PC Jyotish. Their capabilities are limited, but so are my abilities! Both gave the same data. I have a problem with my Lagna too--my written horoscope says I have cancer lagna, but, as per drik panchangam, I have lagna in Gemeni, 28 degrees. In your case, since planets themselves are moving, maybe the problem is the ayanamsha. Which one are u using? ===== Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection =====
Guest guest
Dear Balaji, you have mentioned that "Though Saturn and Mars are together in the same house, they are seperated by 22 degrees. I'm sure this will ensure that there is no problem". So...above statement signifies that if saturn and mars had come more closer to each other then there might have been some problem. What is the min. degree(saperation of saturn and mars) in that senario or can you put some light on it??? I am a novice but amateur student of astrology and need your help on this issue.
