Guest guest
Hi All, I am learning astrology and use Software to churn out the birth chart. While exploring the various software i came to know that there are various way in which the birth chart ca be drawn based on the Astrology school of thoughts e.g B.V Raman,Lahiri, Vanti koppal etc etc. Based on the school the nakshetra changes for example if i use B.V Raman then the nakshetra is Dhanista and if i use Lahiri then its sataBhisha the birth chart was for one of my friend, can any one shed some light on this ?. Can any one let me know the implications of Pancham Shani ? it seems to be on my birth chart ? and its effect on this year DOB : 18 Sep 1975 Time : 1910 Place : Bangalore,India This is a great group for people like me who wants to learn and Understand astrology . Thanks, Sanjay
Guest guest
Dear, This confusion about which anayamsa to use and how to cast chart is a million dollers question , with which many pandits and shcolers are also struggling. Good luck to you. As far as pancham Shani, it may mean delay / difficulty in marriage, disappoinments in love affairs, wandering, depression, abortive tendencies, loss in speculation, likes old people etc. These results are when periods of saturen or the planets in the star of Saturn are under operation. Guest guest
To give a recent example, using Raman ayanamsha, the event in Tanvir's quiz number 2 seems to be explained rather readily. I have posted that earlier. However, if an internet poll is taken probably Lahiri would be the most frequently used value. You can look for some correlations in known charts with events using two or three different values of ayanamsha. Whichever seems to make more sense or to readily explain events etc should be followed. Many times different ayanamshas give similar results using slightly different approaches. Don't be surprised, though all are doing jyotish, approaches can be very different. Read different people reading the same chart and describing their astrologic -- you will see differences. These are not random or happenstance but rather significant! I will write about shani some other time. It is a very karmic position, not necessarily full of joys, but certainly not indicative of failures or lack of progress!
