Guest guest
Dear Friends, On a weekend morning, I am posting this thought of mine which I had written sometime back. again...not very astrological but near to life... PAIN AND PURITY: How do we get rid of the pain caused by a loss? The loss is hard to bear, but that pain must have made the inner being very pure as is said in Hindi, 'sona tapne par aur khara hota hai' meaning, 'more you burn the gold, purer it becomes'. That pain caused by the loss has given the strength to cope up. Time is a great healer. Pain subsides with time and the loss is felt less. As long as there is life, there will be losses and gains. A loss in someway results in a gain. Suffering somewhere makes a man more pure , more genuine and a better human being. The person who has always seen sunshine cannot value it. To value the 'presense' one has to experience the 'absense'. The loss of a materialistic thing may result in spiritual gain or the loss of a friend may result in the development of a more mature character. The loss of a any relationship definitely gives the capability to deal with other relationships better. Every loss is associated with a positive outcome. Every cloud has a silver lining.Bearing the pain, bearing the loss at that moment seems impossible. Human mind tries to find different ways to overcome the pain and fill the gap and tries to run away from the reality. Accepting the reality is very hard but to go through that test and to pass the test brings out the inner purity which is hidden deep inside, which gives the strength to bear the pain. So, why to run away from the pain but let's try to bear it as it will bring out that pure being in us. Manoshi
Guest guest
Hi Manoshi, Quite a nice thought but the fact remains that when we talk about pain we are also looking ourselves in the mirror. Every one of us have experienced pain in one form or the other be it whether in form of a relationship or materialistic etc in our life`s. Once you try to walk in the clouds the only thing that comes to mind is that are you strong enough to tread on such a path? Do you have the strength to muster the feelings associated with even a thought of a loss? Perhaps most of us are too innocent to take the pain as it comes even it makes us more pure. Time is great healer is very much true. But the person who is deep inside with the feeling of a loss will be more embroiled with thoughts of what is actually lost. The precious moments, a handful of memories makes a person weak enough to even think of the complexities involved with a loss( be it making oneself more pure or be it a consolation that time is a great healer). To value the presence one has to experience the inner depths of knowledge. And the inner depths are only be felt once you feel and acknowledge that the person is with you, even if the person is no longer there, through the memories, ideas and last but not the least the importance of the person in your life. A loss of a materialistic world results in a spiritual one is true for people who have carved for a materialtic world but think of a person who has never thought of something materialistic. I know it is really difficult to think of such a person and such a world. Perhaps that was what Rishis tried to explore. I think the answer to why try to run away from the pain but let's try to bear it seems to take us in land of reality. It seems hard to believe the loss and sometimes it seems like a mirage of oasis in a desert where we can see lots of memories for a long time to come. Perhaps that is the reason why human mind tries to find different ways to overcome the pain and fill the gap and tries to run away from the reality. Exploring something which is hidden deep inside is not an easy job as even treasure hunts can take a lot of patience and time and still the result is not sure whether you will find the treasure or not. But surely it is not an impossible one. So once you say every cloud has a silver lining, it is as pure as first drops of rain which brings relief to a parched land. As the cloud also knows that it will return someday back again to a place where it actually belongs, high above the skies and truly that place is really pure.
