Guest guest
Haribol prabhu's, Recently I had a computer crash and lost my links to a good ephemeris. One was astroexpert.com but it seems they have gone down anyway. But I had another, a really good one. Anyhow, does anyone have some favorite ephemeris link they would share with me? I am doing a chart and need to get going on it. Thanks! YS, Prtha dd
Guest guest
I don't use online ephemeris but I have heard that there is a free edition of swiss ephemeris. Do a web search and see if you come up with that , "Prtha (Priitaa) devi dasi" <Prtha_devi_dasi@h...> wrote: > Haribol prabhu's, > > Recently I had a computer crash and lost my links to a good > ephemeris. Guest guest
the other option is to download one of the many astrology programs available on the net. I dont think the online calculators really work well. the ones on astroexpert had many flaws -- I recall getting complaints on PleaseExplain column which I managed. Got tired of telling people that other than PleaseExplain I had nothing to do with anything else on astroexpert. It is amazing what cohorts jyotish manages to draw to itself!! , "Prtha (Priitaa) devi dasi" <Prtha_devi_dasi@h...> wrote: > Haribol prabhu's, > > Recently I had a computer crash and lost my links to a good > ephemeris. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply! Phew. Well, I can't do downloads cuz my comp is such a weakling ha, and yeah, I did a net search and was frustrated with the results. Tho if I keep at it, I'm sure I'll find something. Was just hoping someone had some favoriate or highly recommended site to make it easier. I do realize, sooner or alter, I need to buy one, but so many are inaccurate at times so I'm still thinking about it. Anyway, since it can be obtained free online, I'm in no hurry to purchase one. Had no idea you were even remotely connected to astroexpert! Why did they shut down? Guest guest
Now how do I use something like that to look up a person born in 1970 in California? The links I had before, you type in the locale of birth, and they gave you the latitude and longitude. Guest guest
I thought you said you wanted an ephemeris. Try www.astrodients.com , look for an atlas search. After that you can make a chart with it.
