Hi All

Astrology can predict the future happenings in

anybody's life, as all of know. But, can the ASTROLOGY

predict the following:

a. the death of a person ?

b. how he/she will die ?

c. where death shall take place ?

I beg ur pardon coz i have always been very curious to

explore astrology in those areas where I am still

searching for answers.

I feel this is such a vidhya (teaching)which require a

TRUE GURU(TEACHER)....and am still looking for him.

Richard Houck had researched this and has written a book on this,

before he died.

Regarding future events and astrology, not all events can probably be

predicted by astrology, at least no one has demonstrated yet. So treat

such statements with a healthy dose of scepticism and caution.

Dear Vineet,

This is a vast subject , you can explore books and read and read.

You can see many pointers. It is not a pleasant subject to discuss

and mostly it is discussed as post marteim to some events.

There are hundreads and hundreads of Yogas, rules given which are

sometimes interesting to read.

2nd house, and 7th house are called Maraka Places.

There are Bhadhaka Sthana also.

For movable signs 11th house counted therefrom are bhadhaka Sthana.

For fixed signs 9th sign from those houses are bhadaksthana.

For common signs ,7th house therefrom and the lord of those houses

are bhadaksthana and badhaksthanapatis.

Lord of 2nd, 7th,and bhadhasthana and these houses govern the death

timings. Mode of death is mostly seen from 8th house.

In KP astrology planets in the stars and sub of 7th ,2nd,

bhadhaksthana and their lord etc govern the timings.

But be very cautious:

Never tell a patient a discouraging fact.

Never , never predict death.

Inderji,

Good to hear someone talk about badhakas -- it is a topic many shy

away from :-)

I would love to hear about your specific experiences with the so

called badhakadhipati (not badhaksthana, mind you) causing single-

handedly problems if not death. Particularly using KP or Gopal

Krishna Rao 'Meena's principles or even standard astrology.

You are right, death should not be dealt with lightly. I have seen

astrologers wreak havoc in people's lives with mention of death and

diseases, callously and recklessly. There is some truth to why

astrologers and jyotishis are viewed with paranoia and disbelief by

some if not many, out there.

Dear Rohini ji,

I not very clear about the concept of badhaksthana, and how it works.

About death/health problem etc I wrote what is written in texts.

I saw some charts where expected results came quite late with a lot

of difficuties when for Cancer ascendent where Moon i in 11th

house ,-should have given good results early.

Can you tell -- Badhaka word means obstruction or killer ?

I was seeing Balaji,s chart in this forum. Pl See.

Here Jupiter is lord of Maraka as well as badhaka house.Currenly

Mercury in Jupiter's star is giving him prodominently Jupiter,s

results. What can be the interpretations:

1) Lot of obstructions in his work/ventures.?

2) He will have health problems often occuring during the period.

3) Mer dasa and Jupiter bhukti( Jup giving results of 2nd house

Moon) can give him critical health problems.

I am not sure about these.

What is his full data or where can I find it? You see I use a

different ayanamsha than what seems to be mainstream option on the

net so need to do the math again.
