Greetings,

 

I am trying to understand selfless love, how can one love selflessly

if one does not start with self? I think that people tend to give

love more then they experience love Its has to start with love of

self first. I was the type to give love so freely and could never

understand why I was always being hurt by the family, friends.

 

Then I begin to realize the one can not love truly,

unconditionally , until one can find it from within themselves which

they seek from others. If one doesn't do this they will always be

disappointed. So I am taking the time to nurture me, love me cuddle

me and that's when things begin to change. The company I keep has

changed and no doubt I don't have many friends now. But the ones I

do have are wonderful and treat me like a Queen, because at this

point in my life I wouldn't have it any other way.

 

I had to go through a healing process from all the hurt , pain and

disappointments. I am at peace with self now and no doubt

disappointments and hurt will come but when love is strong within

you can overcome it all .

 

The lesson I learned out of all this is self love is the only real

love everything else is a reflection of what is emanating out of

self.
