SATSANG AUR KUSANG (GOOD COMPANY AND BAD COMPANY)

 

True nature of a person never changes. Once we recognize that

nature, we should trust ourselves and should not allow any weakness

of ours or the wish to see only good in others to deceive ourselves.

True nature of a person can be camouflaged by him/her in many ways .

To say,"see only good in others" is nice but the world is balanced

by the good and the bad. To know what's the right path and to

maintain the good in ourselves is important and once we recognize

the bad , it's wise to be away from it. We should remember that

however polished a person's behaviour be and however camouflaged let

him make himself, the true nature , good or bad , comes out

naturally at times. Behaviour is external whereas nature is what is

inside the person, with which he is born. That's why the believers

of astrology can reveal the nature of a person by looking at the

horoscope of a person. So, if you have recognized the inner nature

of a person and you think his path is not right, stay away from him.

All the Great beings like Meerabai, Nanak, Soordas, Kabir etc have

mentioned the importance of 'satsang' and effects of 'kusang' in

their bhajans (devotional songs). That holds true in any age, any

yuga. Follow the right path and you will reach THAT goal .
