LONDON (Reuters) - Europe, the Middle East and much of Asia and Africa will

offer prime viewing next month for an astronomical event that has not occurred

for 122 years -- the transit of the planet Venus across the sun.

2-Manish & All: from Mark Kincaid....5/12..... Re: Jyotish andjyotishisTo

Manish & All:To me, Jyotish, is synonomous with life itself. It's the nature of

life, that has meaning in our births. It's the nature of life, that's telling

us, when we start our day, and slipat the bottom of the stairs, that 'that' day

is going to be a little bitlike that....It's in the very nature of life, that

the very moment of our births,....is a flash,....representative of our

lives. That being said, there's still much to learn.Jyotish or Astrology...are

ancient and eternal knowledges....Which at some times and some places, will be

more or less perfect andprofound. In my case, having studied Jyotish, now, for

over 16 years....when I got through all the books, and started studing the

Transits,then,...baam!.... that's when Jyotish/Astrology came alive, to

me!Wow....I thought, Nature lives Astrology....If we all could learn how

Jyotish/ or Astrology,...helps us have greaterunderstanding about the very

lives that we're living....then it's purpose ispartly fulfilled...When I first

started studying Jyotish over 16 years ago, I had aninstinctive, feeling that

Jyotish 'worked'...thougth there were two aspectsto it,..that I also

felt...we're quite.....perfect....#1, has been the habit of Jyotish being too

negative...When I read any of the books that were available back then, they

were justfull of the worse kind of negativity, and pessimism....Also, I

noticed, that almost every Jyotish I had every heard about had madesome

predictions that hadn't turned out to be true...So, I thought,...okay, let's

try and look at this thing positively....and made steer away from making

predictions...So, I focused on personality analysis, and within a very short

time,realized.... that we all really do fit our charts....Now, the future of

Jyotish & Western Astrology, too....needs to become truely scientific....Life

is scientific.....It's allow itself, revealed it's secrets to people who care

to listen....and Jyotish is completely like this...Take any rule, principle or

idea in Jyotish .....and you can find it in reallife...Jyotish says the

Moon.... represents people's emotions, emotionalstability...Well, that should

be easy enough to validate.Take 1,000 people, right out of the phone book, ask

them a slew of questionsdesigned to determine emotional maturity, strength, and

EQ!, and thencompare to these people's Jyotish charts....We should be able to

find a remarkable correlation .....Take the Sun.It's supposed to represent

one's self-confidence...Well, that's easy to study too.Intellect?,...that's

Mercury,.... and intellectual capacity, communicationsskills, decision

makings..... all these too should correspond...Jyotish is Real....and therefore

studyable, therefore, scientific.....We all have the great joy and privilege....

to pass on this knowledge...To find it's truths inside of us...And as we do

that.... then, turn on others to this great knowledge...I used to be a

Philosophy & Education major in college.... and believe me,there's no

Philosophy,.... in the entire World, that so clearly captures theessence of

every human beings birth...Our charts, are snap-shots, pictures, of our lives

to come...However, don't forget.... we still have freedom....We still can

choose, to do this or that....We can go with the 'destiny' our lives started

with....or move in other directions....Free will & determinism.....?Two of the

greatest Principles....and questions of life, eternal....Freedom is expressed

by our Jupiter's.....Determinism...is captured by our Saturn's....Learn your

own chart, and all doubts regarding Jyotish will evaporate....Jai

Guru!Sincerely,Mark KincaidPS....for those of you who haven't heard, I also

write a Jyotishnewsletter. It includes a daily, Transits newsletter as well as
