Guest guest
"Forgiving is the most important element Not forgetting. Let us give up our anger and resentment. Even if a father, a mother, a Guru, or a friend has done a cruel thing to you, the greatest humanity is to forgive them. IF we continueto remember these things, they will hurt us from within." This brings up more thoughts....:-) Why does it take such a long time to heal whereas the damage is done in a fluke of a second? speak of anything.... you drop a glass tumbler, it gets shattered and never can be put back again. you break a bone in your body, it hardly takes a second and takes a few years to heal. A relationship...once broken... can ever be the same again? Hurt someone, it doesnt take a second but it takes a life time to heal. Shouldn't we learn something from this? Be careful in what you say and how you behave. Handle things (whether materialistic or not) with care. Guest guest
Ignorance is a state of Mind. > Why does it take such a long time to heal whereas the damage is done > in a fluke of a second? It does not. The real answer is : As much time as it takes for us to snap our fingers. The source of all miseries is "Lack of Knowledge of the Self". Ask your mind whether it finds happiness in stillness or in fickleness. Tell your mind it has been wandering here and there according to its own whim without finding anything or attaining anything. Tell it for this reason it should try to enter the Self. Teach the mind good things about your Self. Talk to the mind about the love of your own Self. Then you will experience the Love. > Be careful in what you say and how you behave. Handle things > (whether materialistic or not) with care. Yes. One should watch what he or her says. It reflects one's True Nature. > Shouldn't we learn something from this? Yes. The knowledge of the Self. Once we have seen our own death with our own eyes, once we have died in the Self, we will never die again. By losing yourSelf you shall find yourSelf; by dying you shall live. If we understand this, we will understand Brahman. Om Tat Sat. --Sanjay Aggarwal , "khallopapa" <khallopapa> wrote: > > "Forgiving is the most important element Not forgetting.
