Dear Friends,

Just a few wandering thoughts....

Human brain is an amazing thing. I guess, 'to forget'is the biggest

boon for human being. I wonder what would be the world like if we

were not able to forget the painful moments of our life?

Losing someone dear is the most painful thing for anyone, but with

time, man comes out of the pain and lives normally. Isnt that

amazing?

Freud says, 'Man wants to forget the painful moments puposely'.

The most desirable thing to do for a person is to remain detatched

with anyone or anything...but it's hard for a normal person to

do,living in this world. But believe me, however tough time you go

through, however hurt you are and how much pain you are in...with

time you will forget. That's a blessing of God to us.

About the ability to forget I would say that the biggest boon for any human

being is not to forget but to "remember". To remember what we ARE; the most

Natural and Simplest state of Awareness, the all purifying Light of Pure

Consciousness :o)

Some more thoughts...

>>Human brain is an amazing thing.

:-). It indeed is an amazing thing. The mind undergoes trouble the

moment we have the awareness 'I am this body'. Instead of

identifying with the body, I turn within. If we go beyond the

conscious mind, the subcoonscious mind, then we realize that we are

NOTHING. I repeat we are NOTHING.

Then what are we?

We then realize that we are nothing but the effulgent light of the

Self and we begin to swim in that ocean of brilliance.

>>But believe me, however tough time you go

>>through, however hurt you are and how much pain you are in...with

>>time you will forget.

Forgiving is the most important element Not forgetting. Let us give

up our anger and resentment. Even if a father, a mother, a Guru, or

a friend has done a cruel thing to you, the greatest humanity is to

forgive them. IF we continueto remember these things, they will hurt

us from within.

I summarize:

Do 4 things.

-First of all do not remember that you ever helped a person.

-Second if anyone has wronged you, forgive him; never take revenge. -

-Third DEATH is always behind you; therefore, find some means to

OVERCOME it.

-Finally, make your house the house of God. Do not have resentment

or hatred towards anyone.

Have only good thoughts. Taking revenge or remembering other

people;s mistakes is not the sign of a wise person.

>Losing someone dear is the most painful thing for anyone, but with

>Freud says, 'Man wants to forget the painful moments puposely'.

We are not different from God nor is God different from Us. We are

not far away from God nor is God far away from Us. If we think we

are far away from God, that is due to the delusion of our own mind.

If we give the delusion of our mind to the Psychologists, then

whatever is left will be the inner Self :-).

By losing yourself in the Self you shall find yourSelf;

BY DYING YOU SHALL LIVE. (If we understand this we understand Death)

When we meet the Pure One, we become Pure;;Our ego gets erased and

we become God.

Very nice indeed.

Some more thoughts...

That is the Truth, the Self, God. That is Consciousness. Because of

That we are able to perform all actions. The supreme Truth never

changes; it always remains the same. It is not tainted by impurity

or by purity or by anything else. Due to that Consciousness we are

able to perform actions. We always say, "I, I, I" but we are not

aware of the true nature of that "I". When we say "I", do we mean

all parts of this body? The "prana" helps this body to function, but

when we say "I" do we mean the "prana"? The Self of the universe,

God, exists inside this body and makes the universe work. Are we

aware which "I" is "I" ?

Hello Mr. Sanjay,

Wow, that's amazing what you just mentioned about who we are and how

we identifiy ourselves.. Really, it's true we can live a celestial

life if we let go off body-conscoiusness, and intellect also and

fix our mind on the Supreme soul.
