Muhurta for consecration of Mala

Greetings,

 

I have a question for the gurus of the list. I recently purchased a

rudraksha mala and learned the necessary mantras and obtained the

substances to dedicate it to Siva. My question is this, what is the

most auspicious day to actually go through the process? Also, I've

attempted to find Ashtaghanda locally (Minneapolis, MN, USA) though

no one seems to know what I'm talking about. Assistance will be

appreciated.
