Is Astrology At Stake:Some Questions: From Souvik

Hi Members,

I had some questions:

"everything that has a beginning must have an end"

1. When were the planets created. Does each of the planets too have a

horoscope. Well, if Ganeshji can have a horoscope then why not the

planets? Then, Saturn will have all the planets (perhaps) except

Saturn itself in HIS the horoscope! What was the timing or Order of

creation of the planets? I mean Sun first, then...Since the planets

were not eternal, they got created some point of TIME (both wrt the

BIG BANG theory or the Vedic Theory) and thus they must come to an

end (Destruction). So what is considered in their horoscope?

"horoscope is nothing but a snapshot of the celestial organization at

any point in time"

2. If a child (human or otherwise) is born on Mars, will Earth be a

benefic or malefic towards him. Is Earth a natural benefic or malefic

to other planets?

"Zodiacs/Constellations are a collection of stars"

3. In Time, there was a time when these zodiacs, nakshatras, planets

nothing existed. Then there was a time that they did exist. So what

is the "Horoscope" of Taurus Zodiac or Ashwini Nakshatra? I am sure

that they are not eternal. So can their time of destruction be

predicted? What will be the factors that determine that?

"Anything Dead or Alive has a horoscope"

4. Can astrology by merely seeing a chart(horoscope) say that it is

the chart of a Nation or an indivual or a cat or of the Time a person

has had lunch with his Boss?

These questions are baffelling my mind. Could some please help me

with these questions?

Dear Souvik,

Good questions!

I can only give you my opinions on two of your questions:-

Q#2. If a child is born on Mars, his horoscope will not have Mangal in

it. To replace it, it would have the planet Earth. Now whether Earth is

a benefic or malefic would depend on either the sign lordships

attributed to earth, or it would be in accordance with the Martian

Astrological Texts. After all, if human life is possible on Mars, then

the Martian ancients must have noted down their celestial observations

and compiled the results into

Some classic ( say - Mangal Shastra )!

Q#4. In Astrology, there is no way in which we can say whether a given

chart is that of a male or female, leave alone distinguish between

humans, animals or inanimate objects. If at the moment of India's

independence, a child was born ( and I'm sure there must be at least one

child born in Delhi or its suburbs at that time ), and a person

approaches an astrologer with a prashna, then India's Chart, the baby's

natal chart, and the prashna chart would be exactly the same. And there

would be no way to distinguish one from the other two.
