How to manage relationships astrologically - Surendra Lalwani's S ubject

Before taking further from the last posting, a brief sum up of last posting.

 

The scope of this study is established to the AdiBhautika plane of

astrologically understanding the spectrum of variance

 

* Relationship (Very Subtle)

* Communication (Subtle)

* Behavior (Gross)

 

between individuals.

 

The Benefits of this study have been clearly outlined. A case has been

illustrated for study.

 

 

I personally visualize learning, any skill or art, as per the following

scenario.

 

When we descend down for a landing in an airplane, say from 10,000 feet we

might not be seeing the ground very clearly.

 

Descend down to 7,000 feet may be we get to recognize the colors of water as

blue, earth as brown and trees as green.

 

Descend further to 4,000 feet; we may make out the boundaries of earth &

water. See clouds. Make our few objects on earth.

 

Descend to 1000 feet of the ground we can see the objects on earth

spectacularly.

 

 

So is learning too, we might not develop the insight right away. I need this

anecdote through out this study.

 

 

Relationships can be categorized into two types.

 

1. Relationships, which we inherit by our birth as parents,

siblings, relatives etc.

2. Relationship, which we build out of our choice as friends,

colleagues etc.

 

To start with at 10,000 feet, what are the inputs we need to clearly

understand the compatibility between two individuals. What are the

parameters that dictate our understanding?

 

To understand and manage relationship of category 1 we get lot of time,

accurate inputs, and number of chances for failure etc.

 

But for category 2 relationships, we don't get relatively as much time,

inputs and chances.

 

If we have an association with a friend, colleague or a member and want to

understand our compatibility,

 

How sure can we be of the accuracy of the Time of birth given by the person?

Would it be appropriate to ask him these details of his Birth (If not the

date, about time and place)?

Can we get so much time to spare to make a chart, understand and interpret?

 

Might be this could be justifiable for Category 1 relationships.

 

For category 2 relationships I would like to workout on a simpler framework.

 

Elements of this framework would be

 

1. Sun signs (Based of the DOB).

 

(Well no one minds to give the details of their date of

birthday. In any organizational record we can get them. We can get them in

the Resume of an individual. In a birthday party celebration we can get it.)

 

I don't think people would be so comfortable with the time

of birth. Even so, the accuracy of this time would be an issue.

 

 

That's all we need as an input from this person at the 10,000 feet level.

This forms the Y.

 

The X's being, (The derived parameter)

 

2. The element of this Sun Sign (Earth, Fire, Water and

Air)

3. The ruler (planet) of this sign.

 

 

It seems so simpler. It is only the DEPTH OF INSIGHT that differentiates

individuals on a subject.

 

 

 

Only 4 of the 5 elements are ascribed to sun signs.

Interestingly why is not Akasha/Ether ascribed to any sun sign?

Let me have your inputs on this.

 

 

Sun Signs are categorized under the elements as following.

 

 

 

Earth - Capricorn, Virgo & Taurus

Water - Cancer, Scorpio & Pisces

Fire - Aries, Leo & Sagittarius

Air - Libra, Gemini & Aquarius

 

This is an elementary principle of astrology. Some people on this group

might be feeling stupid at the explanation on this point!

 

But for the benefit of people new to astrology, people who want to learn,

and to reinforce my understanding, let me explain this

 

For it is the DEPTH OF INSIGHT and the POWER OF EXPRESSION, I would like to

invite inputs and thoughts from the Masters in this group.

 

 

An example:

 

I am a Capricorn, My dad is a Leo. Well, we both have to work out at our

relation. This relationship does not blossom on itself with out the

conscious effort of the part of both parties.

 

Had it been a relationship between a Capricorn & a Taurus or a Pisces, it

would be an effortless sailing on clouds. We would see how this inference

had been made!

 

 

There are 24 principles of creation in our tradition. The word Hindu is a

misnomer. I don't believe in it. There is only Sanatana Dharma. Sanatana

Dharma is not a religion but a

WAY OF LIFE. Unlike the counterparts, Sanatana Dharma has not been

propounded by a single person. This is a great reason as to why every

individual can find thoughts & philosophies to identify themselves with.

 

The Pancha bhuta's are the first 5 principle of these 24.

 

Had any one taken a closer look to understand at these 5 elements, I have a

question?

 

Which of these 5 elements is greater? This is a perfectly valid question.

 

It is from Akasha that the Vayu was created. From Vayu the Agni, from Agni

the Jal and finally the prithvi was conceived.

 

This is the sequence in which the elements were conceived out of the divine

thought.

 

Be it the Upanishad's of Sanatana Dharma or Genesis from Bible.

 

So, atleast now do we have a clue as to why Akasha tatva is not conferred to

any of the sun signs for mortal's like us?

Well, Initially I used to pride my self in vanity with the following fact.

 

Capricorn is Pridhivi/Earth tatva. Of the five elements it is very gross.

So, very practical.

 

All the other 3 earth Sun Signs are very practical. The go step by step with

logical thinking.

 

Of earth, we can See, Smell, Taste, Touch and Hear.

 

This can be perceived by all our 5 senses.

 

Compare it with the other 3 elements

 

Agni/Fire can only be Seen, Touched & Heard

 

I leave the rest to the reader's extrapolation.

 

To sum up,

 

Akasha/Sky or Space ---> Vayu/Air ---> Agni/Fire ---> Jal/Water --->

Prithvi/Earth.

 

The elements become grosser.

 

But reflect on the other side they become subtler.

 

The first Inference

 

With the mapping of the elements and sun signs, can you personally identify

this power with in you?

 

Gross is Practical.

 

My father's thought & feelings have subtletiy. He grasps things that I

almost don't even feel most of the times.

 

What is Most Subtler about? I want to keep it open for inputs from reader.

 

Don't you feel active and responsive readers make this discussion more

productive?

 

To sum up, I have tried out to explain as to how the principle of Gross -

Subtle as ruled by the elements got dictated to the Sun Signs.

 

In spite of all our efforts our emotions, feelings, thought and instincts

are all based on this principle from which we inherit !

 

Now that some foundation has been laid out, we can take more examples and

focus on the compatibility of people.

 

 

 

I have seen so many remedies given on this group. I will add my 2 cents

worth to this.

 

When every you are unhappy, Take few moments.......be alone (don't feel

lonely. I have discussed the difference) with your element.

 

Capricorn's element is earth. Cancer's element is water.

 

So is Leo's Fire, And Libra's Air.

 

Physically try to be with your element.

 

For Water sign people, sit beside a lake, river or a pool of water.

 

For Fire signs, try to be the side of the flame of a candle.

 

For Air sign people, ascend to the top of a building and feel the cool

gentle breeze...

 

You will feel your emotions subtly caressed by your elemental parent.

 

What do our elemental parents teach us.......are we trying to learn from

them ?

 

Being cast in the invincible mould of our elemental parents, why have we

become so susceptible & vulnerable?

 

This is a way to become harmonious with our element and manage our relation

with our SELF.
