Moon Moves to the Middle of Libra, today.... Dear Friends: The Moon moves to the 23rd Degree of Libra, today, 4/7th...... starting at 9am, Wednesday... CST..... ....2004... ....CST..... ...USA... Transits Dear Friends: Today, the Moon has moved to the 23rd degree of Libra. How has your last 1 1/2 days...been....? I'm writing this in the pm, of the 6th...so at this very moment, the Moon & Ketu are just 1 degree apart. Thank goodness it's the evening hour, here, anyway, and about to head to blessed sleep. Though I have been noticing a slightly elevated....'pitta' quality in the late afternoon, and evening.... hours... See, that Moon,...tonite...wow,....very still..... in it's begining Waning...fullness.... Tomorrow, Wednesday,....the Moon finishes it's last 7 degrees of Libra, and then moves into Scorpio, for it's next 2 1/2 day, romp! That still means, 14 more hours of libra. That'll be a nice flavor of Consciousness, especially, since the Moon in Scorpio...has a pitta agenda, that often makes us a little ill.... Look for Harmony, one more day.... and then, next day, as the Moon transits, Scorpio....allow yourself to contemplate...your convictions, and personal beliefs. Just don't get too, bent out of shape about them.... I still get confused by that?" "Dear James: This is a very good question. Though I like to write about them, probably a kind of way for me to make peace with my own small birth, Moon, and certainly very helpful for over 10 years, now. But, still, you're right. Traditionally, it's usually said that one's Astrological Chart, accounts for close to 50% of one's overall, Astrological Experience. The Dasas, then, consist of about 20 - 30% more, and the Transits, around 20%. Some even say, the birth chart, the Progressed Yearly chart, calculated on one's birthday, each year, and expresses some flavor of this upcoming year, may cover about 10% But, I've also found, that these proportions, tend to be more guidelines, and each one of us, needs to research or figure out which areas are the most important. I've emphasized....these Transits, because it's easier to understand one's chart and even dasas, if one learns to 'feel' the Stars. And watching what's supposed to be happening, each day, and how much we're affected by these Transits, is a good test of Astrology. Once we 'verify' that this knowledge is real, and alive. Not just rumored, by some doctors down at the City Hospital Emergency room, who swear by the Moon! but it becomes our experience... And once we experience Astrology as being real and significant, then we'll naturally be more inquisitive, and seek to apply the Principles and Wisdoms...to our lives... I've had charts done before that focused on my natal chart, or maybe transits, but I didn't feel like I had the whole picture. The information I got didn't exactly fit my experience.
